"Moisture intrusion"??? By chance, do you work for the government? I wouldn't "demand" anything from the dealer. I would politely point out the problem, and ask them to fix it. Don't go in there copping an attitude. It won't get you anywhere.

I use a tarp to cover anyone...er...thing that I might have in the back. Usually, there is nothing back there. More weight = less gas mileage.
