Some 2011 models (maybe some 2012 too?) has early build software that made necessary for them to update (the Performance upgrade "Version 3.0.2") through a Dealer only.

To confirm what Dingo said, if you the signal on, the signal noise will go away while the seatbelt chime is on.

I know the MKX has it on the front windows only plus the vista roof. You just unlock using the fob and keep holding until they start rolling down. The feature is called "global open" by Ford. There is also a setting in the left cluster toenable or disable it.

Normal. Its even mentioned in the Owners Guide under "Power Windows":
Rear Window Buffeting:When one or both of the rear windows are open, the vehicle may demonstrate a wind throb or buffeting noise. This noise can be alleviated by lowering a front window approximately 2–3 inches (5–8 cm).
Though to be honest, it is really bad compared to my previous cars. Sometimes it even kind of whistles.

The Ford Headrest DVD's are quite expensive. How old is your daghter? My 2 & 6 year olds usualy are happy playing their tablets in the car. They can watch movies & even play games. And the tablets are much cheaper.

Manufacturer recommends 35 PSI. I believe the TPMS comes on at around 28 PSI.
If your driving high speeds, it is better to go for 35 PSI. If your driving in the city, with bad roads like where I live, I would suggest 30 PSI & the TPMS will not come on.

Since the 3.02 update, I hated the fact that the default Lincoln star wallpaper was not centered. Finally I was able to get hold of that image & was able to modify it to center the Lincoln Star.
Also, I found one image that I liked in a Focus forum, so I just modified it to center it in the updated MFT/MLT screens & added a Ford/Lincoln Logo.
I have added a .zip file containing all images because the pictures are changed when attached to the post.

Simply buy it with the 20" wheels & then put them up for swap. There are many who are willing to exchange their 18" wheels for the 20" wheels.

It states in the manual that the oil life meter can reach up to 16000 km or one year. The manual recommends following the oil life meter.
It seems the sticker you are refering to is just the dealer's way to get to come more often!
By the way, even in extreme heat like in the Arabian Gulf, GCC, Ford recommends a 8000 km or 6 month interval (whichever earlier), basically a 50% oil life meter.

Dingo, few question if its not too much;
Is there any difference in wind noise due to the smaller side view mirrors?
Can you confirm, the high beam turn on function on the '13 is by pushing the turn signal stalk "away" (towards front of vehicle) where as in the '11 (like my MKX) is by pulling the stalk towards you past the detent? (both will have the "flash to pass" by pulling).

Your vehicle comes with an Integrated Keyhead Transmitters (IKT), basically the key & FOB are a single unit.
If you want Remote start+ Alarm, I would suggest any of the following two routes:
First option:
Install the Remote Start System - 100 Series Plug-N-Play, which would replace your "IKT" with another one that includes a start button. And install the Ford Vehicle Security System - Alarm which would Arm/Disarm using the same "IKT" that unlocks/locks your doors. Thisoption, if possible, would give you the best "Factory look/function".
Second option:
Install the same Remote Start Kit Series 200 you mentioned, but you can buy regular Ford PATS key (without the FOB integrated) & use it with the new FOB from the series 200 kit.

From the 2013 Edge Owner's Manual:
ANTI-THEFT ALARM (IF EQUIPPED)
The system will warn you of unauthorized entry to your vehicle.
The turn signal lamps will flash and sound the horn up to a total of 10
times when:
• any door, the hood or the luggage compartment is opened without using the keypad, the remote control or the intelligent access transmitter (if equipped)
• the ignition is turned on with an invalid key.
Take all keys and remote controls to your authorized dealer if there is
any potential alarm problem with your vehicle. So a hood switch will be installed if the vehicle is equiped with the "Perimeter Alarm".

A tip for those who like a 5000 mile oil change interval is to reset the oil life meter to 50%. This way you would get a reminder at around 5000 miles or 6 months, give or take a few.

Congrats. Hope you enjoy your new ride.

Great, glad it helped.

I remember reading that a dealer can change your DRL's to the turn signals instead of low beam, this would simplify your HID setup.

This seems to be the same issue in late 2013 builds of the Explorer, 2011-2012 and early 2013 did not have this, its supposed to be a reminder that the vehicle is left running without a key inside.
As far as I know, there is no way to disabble it. You can try to check with your dealer if there is a way for them to disable it.

Is that while driving at 90 Km/h? Straight line? I mean not going an uphill? If so, then 13L/100 Km is high. You should get 10 or less.
You say this is as displayed, have you ever calculated your economy manualy to check if the display is showing correct info?

Where we live, in the GCC counties, we have extreme city driving. It is pretty normal in a single commute to accelrate from 5 to 60 mph 10 to 15 times for a short 10 minute drive.
-
The indicator shown in OnTheFence's picture is part of the LCD screen, so it might be a new program/update of the cluster, not an actual hardware change. I guess you can try and politely ask your dealer to update the cluster software (wich is not part of the MFT/MLT).

I think it is because you have the system on Auto (for the air flow direction) so it might be that the system sometimes transfers the air flow to "Defrost" or "Defrost+Floor" & hence the recirculation turning off. Next time, try setting the air flow manualy to your preferred setting and test to see if recirculation turns off.

You mentioned that the new Key cranks the engine, but does the engine run?
If the engine does run with the new key, try to follow these programming instructions for the remote part only:
How to reprogram your remote entry transmittersYou must have all remote entry transmitters (maximum of four)
available before beginning this procedure.
Note: Ensure the brake pedal is not
depressed during this sequence.
To reprogram the remote entry
transmitters:
1. Ensure the vehicle is electronically unlocked.
2. Put the key in the ignition.
3. Cycle eight times rapidly (within 10 seconds) between the 1 (LOCK)
position and 3 (RUN). Note: The eighth turn must end in the 3 (RUN)
position.
4. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been activated.
5. Within 20 seconds press any button on the remote entry transmitter to
be programmed. Note: If more than 20 seconds have passed you will
need to start the procedure over again.
6. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that each remote entry
transmitter has been programmed.
7. Repeat Step 5 to program each additional remote entry transmitter.
Note: The first remote transmitter programmed corresponds to Driver 1;
the second, Driver 2.
8. Turn the ignition to the 1 (LOCK) position after you have finished
programming all of the remote entry transmitters. Note: If any one of
the transmitters is not reprogrammed, it will be erased.
9. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming
mode has been exited.

I meant keep the engine running. While you are stopped waiting, do you keep the engine running for long periods of time?
Try driving a long road, like 10km straight at 90km/h, what would your average mileage be?

Why didnt you just ordered an Edge with HID?
