  1. Sometimes they're attached to the inside jam on the tailgate, or on a sticker under the hood. Good luck!
  2. Ok, so I'm in the market for the HID kit. First, should I get the 4300k or the 6000k. Also, I read on a thread that the MKX lights will fit the Edge. Is that true? If they don't, I'm probably going to get the Sylvania HID kit I saw on a website. (either 4300k or 6000k)
  3. I only have 305 miles on the Edge so far, but it seems to be averaging around 19mpg. 90% around town, and 10% highway.
  4. Yeah, you know, the more I think about this, the more it irritates me. Is there an engineering thing we're missing? If not, I really think Ford, and other makers should switch them around.
  5. I like the way it looks. And, it keeps the area in front of the car lit when the high beams are on. Try turning the foglights on and off when your driving down a rural road in the dark. You'll see a big difference.
  6. OMG!!! I was just thinking the same thing today! I went to Lowes to p/u some closet shelves, and found it would have been MUCH better to have the right side seat be the 60% instead of the left.
  7. When I bought my 01 Expedition, I was able to make a jumper to keep the foglights on when the high beams were on. Does anyone know how to, or where I can find out how do this on the Edge?
  8. I've only had my Edge for a week, but I never had that problem. I'm 6'1". Are you using your shoulder to push your self off the seatback?
  9. Geez, I don't know. I hope nothing else. BTW- I noticed that some of the chrome pieces, especially the interior, don't have that deep chrome look. It looks as though they were cheaply plated. Some pieces are: interior door handles, and the chrome trim that goes the length of the vehicle on the exterior. Also, has anyone had trouble with the chrome finish on their 20" chrome "clad" wheels?
  10. Well, I had my Edge for 3 days now. It has 88 miles on it. I was washing it today, and noticed the paint on the tailgate Ford badge is chipping away. I called the dealer, and said to bring it down. Is this something that can easily be replaced?
  11. Boy, it must sound great. Do you have any pics of where you mounted the tweeters?
  12. Hi npggirl Yes, my dealer installed it for me. And now that you mention it, I used it for the first time this morning, and it only stayed on for 10 minutes. I'm going to go over to the dealer and have them up the running time. Thanks for the info.
  13. I Love my Valentine 1. The arrows and bogey counter really come in handy.
  14. Well, I finally picked up the Edge tonight (actually about 15 minutes ago). I love the ride and can't believe how quiet it is inside. I was to supposed to pick it up last night, but the Ford remote starter I ordered had a bad module. So for my inconvenience, they upgraded it to the unit with the security system built into it. Anyway, the Sync, and the bluetooth work great. Ford really did a great designing and building this vehicle.
  15. Does anyone know where the sensor eye is located that turns on the auto headlights. On my 2001 Expedition, it's located on top of the dashboard, but I'm not sure about the Edge.
  16. ahhh- I pay property tax because I live in the wonderful state of Connecticut :yup:
  17. You say you have the HID headlights. Can I ask where you bought them? Thanks
