ks: We will definitely be sharing notes. I have already started figuring out the wiring for that mirror in comparison to the mirror that is already in our SE. The difference I have seen (felt) is the third wire which is thicker than the others. That third wire is the wire for the BT mic. Comparing it with the Parrot that comes with the Eclispe, the wire feels like the same thickness. Additionally, there is a fourth wire. However, I wonder where that wire actually goes once it gets into the headliner. This is where a wiring diagram would come in VERY handy. I am looking at installing an Eclipse AVN-6620 in our Edge and it has the Parrot Bluetooth with it. I want to take the Parrot Bluetooth and splice it with the Sync Mirror.

I am contemplating the installation of a BT system in the Edge but I want the mirror for the Sync system that has the microphone built in. I am wondering if this could be done so that I will have a very neat install versus an external control.

I am going with the Asanti AF128s on the same Pirelli Scorpions that are on the Limiteds or Edges with the 20" wheel package. They may be a bit wider because I want a decent lip.

When I tested an '08 Edge Limited with Sync, all 3 (Mine, wife's, My Work) of my phones connected with no problem. However, one thing is whether or not the phone is BT 2.0 or the current BT standard of 2.1, your phone should not have problems.

This royally sucks. Now that I am reading about this, I am going to inspect my SE to make sure I don't see this. If I do, there will be a vehicle change.

We wish. They didn't copy the Edge's looks one whit. It looks nauseatingly ugly.

I have driven the Escape/Mariner/Tribute trio and the differences versus the Edge are as follows: - Smaller in terms of cargo space and interior room - Lacks refinement, especially when it comes to engine noise (Even worse when it comes to the 4 cylinder versions) - Doesn't have the same performance in V6 trim As for Muranos, the differences are as follows: - Love it or hate it design. The new one is even more polarizing. - Headroom is less - The CVT will drive you batty. I drove a 2007 Maxima (Which shares the same frame and drivetrain as the Altima and Murano) with the CVT and was DEFINITELY not happy. The performance is not what it used to be.

Can we see pics of the ballasts and bulbs? Do you carry the necessary relays for these vehicles?

I agree. Our Edge is a daily driver and we love the pep it has. As for the moron who likes to bump folks, consider this. In certain states, YOU would be nailed for aggressive driving and failure to control your vehicle to avoid an accident. If you cause injury or kill the other person, you will definitely be in deep crap.
