    2.0L ecoboost tune available

Well, for Fusion 2.0L ecoboost, anyway... But it's a short putt for Edge. Bottom line is that Livernois got +20hp and +50tq out of their Fusion ecoboost. I'm waiting until after the factory warranty expires before flashing a tune, but this is a great start. http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/pics-videos-buffet-149/954578-livernois-motorsports-now-offers-tuning-2013-fusion-2-0l-ecoboost.html Enjoy!

    OEM Edge carpet floor mats

I have sold my Edge, but realized I kept the factory floor mats and left the all-weather mats installed. These are factory sealed in the original plastic bag. $75+shipping or best offer. These should fit any 2006-2014 Edge.
  3. SOLD! I have since sold my Edge, but have a full roof mount kit that 100% works for 2006-2014 Edges with the Vista roof. I ran the roof rails with my Vista roof for about a year, but only used the crossbars and bicycle mounts once. They are in perfect working and cosmetic order and include all documentation and extra parts. I have even installed Thule compatible locks and will include all keys -- this is a must have for any Thule kit to prevent theft of your bikes and equipment. I was able to install these and open the Vista moonroof all the way up with an inch or two of clearance between the glass and the bicycle mounts. Without the bicycle mounts, there is several inches of clearance between the crossbars and the Vista roof. I decided on this setup based on a review on these forums. Since I've sold my Edge, I no longer need this equipment. You can buy each component or everything. I will list prices for each. I have about $1000 invested in this setup. OEM Ford Edge Roof Rails. Will fit 2006-2014. $100+shipping 2x Thule Aeroblade Edge Raised Rail (L). All parts and manuals included. - $300+shipping for both - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009NN8MD2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 2x Thule Thruride 535. One is configured for the left side of the car, the other configured for the right side. They can be mounted to any cross bars, but the Thule kit has an easy on/easy off option. All parts and manuals included. - $350+shipping for both. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FSRO6ZA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) All set up: Thanks for looking! Let me know if you have any questions!

Shift to Park Warning when it's in Park

Took mine in today for this issue. They have to order the part and replace the shifter. I have been seeing sometimes the remote start does not work. Ford said this problem and the "shift to park" problem were related.
  6. I love how the Sport models have body colored grilles. I have a Limited, so my grille is chrome like most others. Has anyone painted their grille to match the body color?
  7. Upgraded my '13 to v3.8 tonight. Took about 35 minutes. The screen seems faster, but I haven't noticed any additional features. I was able to connect to my home WiFi though, not sure if that's new. Is there a list of new features somewhere?

    2013 Edge EcoBoost. BOV???

Thanks for taking the time to make the video and tutorial. I would normally do the same to my '13 Edge 2.0L, but I'm getting ready to upgrade to a '16 Explorer Sport 3.5TT.
  9. I use Adams Paint Sealant and Adams H20 Gloss and Guard every other wash. Works great!

    Sprint Booster

This is something I hate about drive by wire. My Cobra has a good ol' throttle cable and when you hit the gas it just goes. No delay. In my Edge, if I floor it to pass or merge, there's a good delay before it picks up. It's annoying.

Owners of 2.0l turbos speak to me.......

I get better performance and MPG with premium fuel. The 2.0 has great power for its size and better low end torque than the V6. I don't get the 30mpg advertised fuel economy on the freeway. I think I'm closer to 27mpg at 75mph.
  12. Bump, great thread. I asked my Ford rep for a quote on the roof rack kit. The Thule crossbars are $400 for both. And a single bike rack is $200. This got expensive, quick. Hoping a local shop can do better.

Use synthetic fluids. Use a sealant and a wax to protect the paint in the harsh weather.

    What brand of wax?

I use Adams SuperVRT for the black trim, and Pinnacle Souveran for the paint.
  16. Still for sale? Haven't heard anything back.
  17. We picked the car up a few weeks ago and it hasn't had any wax or sealant on it yet. That all changed last weekend. The full detailing time was about 7 hours. I applied to all paint, door jams, under the gas cap, wheel wells, glass, mirrors, wheels. 1. Washed with Dawn to strip off any detail spray or dealer-applied waxes. I used Adams Deep Cleaning wheel cleaner on the wheels and tires. 1a. Two-bucket wash, "wookies fist" wash mitt. A separate mitt for the wheels. 2. Clay bared the entire car, concentrating on the front nose, tail, fenders and wheelwells. This is my least favorite step 3. Used an electric blower to dry all the nooks and crannies 4. Absorber to dry the rest of the car 5. Adams white pad and polish on a Porter Cable 7475XP machine to get a few swirls I noticed in the hood, doors, and a light scratch on a fender 6. Washed again with Adams car shampoo 7. Used an electric blower to dry all the nooks and crannies 8. Absorber to dry the rest of the car 9. 1 coat Zaino ZFX-enabled Z5, wait 20 minutes, buff off 10. Zaino Z6 detail spray applied with a Gritos microfiber towel 11. 1 coat Zaino ZFX-enabled Z2, wait 30 minutes, buff off 12. Zaino Z6 detail spray 13. Pinnacle Souveran, applied to all paint, glass, mirrors, wheels. Buffed out 14. Zaino tire dressing I'm sure it'll never look this good ever again. Here are the pics of my hard work.

    Ecoboost and Octane

The 2.0EB can take 87 or 93 and the ECU will adjust the timing based on the type of fuel you use. You will get slightly better performance and fuel economy with 93, but the added few bucks the fillup will cost you makes it a wash. I use premium because I like the extra kick on highway merging. It certainly does not feel like a 4 banger. It will throw you back in your seat at lower speeds and will easily spin the tires at a stop. It isn't quite as strong at highway speeds. Livernois released a 2.0EB tune for Fusion, but Edge uses the older revision ECU so it isn't compatible... but they were able to gain about 10hp and 55tq with just a tune!
  19. This happens because you're using a shit product. Try Adams Super VRT. http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-512-adams-super-vrt-tire-trim-dressing.aspx

    Looking to upgrade wife's edge

We have a '13 Edge Limited Ecoboost. Only issue I've had is there is occasionally a rattle from the Vista roof in cold weather. I'm told this is a known issue that Ford will fix. The car has 12k on it now and has averaged about 26mpg mixed. It's been a great car so far.
  21. I think it's completely up to the city. I'm in Strongsville, Ohio. 25 minutes away from Cleveland. Some of the smaller suburbs will harass people for window tint.
  22. Next week, taking her in to have the front windows tinted 35%. It's the wife's car, but all my cars are tinted. My Cobra and GTP are 20% all around (the best % IMO), but wife doesn't want to be hassled by the police for window tint.
  23. Not sure. The car came with 18s, my winter wheels are 17s with a slightly taller sidewall. The speedo reads about 3mph faster than I'm actually going. From what I read on the F150 forums, a tuner or dealership can plug in pre-determined wheel/tire combos. I don't think this exact setup was ever offered from the factory. However, I removed the negative terminal, let it sit for a few hours, and the navigation now appears to be spot on. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it ever gets off course. The F150 guys are far more likely to change wheel/tire combos than we are (IMO), so they noticed this issue right away.
  24. Pulled the negative terminal off the battery per this thread. I'm running -1 sized winter wheels/tires so the navigation is all wonky. It thinks I'm plowing through the fields when I'm actually on the freeway. The F150 guys have the same problem, and say pulling the neg terminal on the battery fixes it. Also strongly considering order the illuminated door sills - http://www.levittownfordsupercenter.com/ford-edge-door-sill-plates-illuminated-piece-charcoal-black-p-46.html
