Just wondering what voltage capacitor people are using for their hid lights to prevent strobing? I've been looking online and from what I have seen a 25V cap can be used for 10V-16V applications where a 16V cap can be used for 6.3V-10V applications. I'm pretty sure the hid's will require around 14V during night driving but what do they require for DRL?

Did someone put a ford logo on that Santa Fe? lol so Fugly, should've just improved on the previous model which looks much nicer.

$170 to weld it back up with lifetime warranty. Could have been a lot worse I suppose.

I had the same thing happen but I found that one of my wheels was actually cracked on the inside lip. There was no impact damage visible to the eye at all.

Which dealer? Marigold told me they won't do it.

Don't waste you time or $$$ replacing any of the sony stereo components, they are as good as it gets for given application. To be more percise, if you replace door speakers, you will need to replace the sub and the processor as well. The system is actually quite good, if you turn the mid down 3 notches, and increase the bass and tweeter 1 notch.

Thanks very much for the reply, although theretrofit source assured me that this is the proper setup prior to ordering. Now having to deal with it over the past week, I must agree with you that this is the case, even though they should have known that this may happen? I'm not bashing them for it, just saying....... Any idea if the bumper lights can be programmed to run as DRL?

Just installed the Retrofitsource HID kit 5000k (9006) with the Canbus adapters. Honestly, these kits are way overhyped and overpriced. For the price you could go with another brand three times over if something goes wrong. I purchased the kit thinking it would be simple plug and play, and for the kind of money for an aftermarket HID kit you would expect it to be. The first problem I came across is, the polarity on the plugs had to be reversed. Secondly, one of the bulbs and/or the balasts would not turn on every time and one of the bulbs has a blue tint to it, it would come on for 3 sec. then turn off. It took 3 or 4 tries before it would stay on. The last problem I'm dealing with is the Canbus adapter. I'm not sure wheather the adapters are faulty or something else is going on, but my DRL are not working and/or working intermittenly. Just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this kit and DRL?

Summer is around the corner, I'll take offers on the wheels, reasonable that is Two tires are at 8/32" and two are nearing the tread depth indicators.I'll take a few more pics with them cleaned up.

I recently bought a 2011 Edge Sport. I bought it used from a Kia dealer and got a great deal. The funny thing is, it's an even better deal than I thought. Apparently the vehicle comes with the 6/150000km extended warranty. The problem is, I have to get a written document from previous owner stating that he's transferring the warranty over to me. Ford trying to make me jump through hoops or what? What difference does it make at this? It's already bought and paid for, should be transfered with the ownership and original manufacturers warranty at time of purchase. There's got be a way around this, this is ridiculous? Thoughts?

Here you go. Not the greatest as the weather sucks right now but......... Two wheels have rash approximately 1/3 of the rim not deep and easily buffed out, one rim has a small rash, again not deep, last rim is perfect. All the rims are straight and true.

Hello everyone! I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Edge Sport and so far I'm loving it. The only thing I would like to change are the wheels, which I feel are too big for this vehicle. I'm looking to downsize to a 20" wheel with some 265/50/20 tires. I'm located in the GTA - Toronto area if anyone wants a trade or purchase. Two of the tires are very good shape and two have about 50% left. Thank you.

Just bought a used 2011 sport with 57,xxx km. No sunroof, but otherwise loaded. Strangely no hids, which I had on a 10 year old Maxima. The thing that drew me to this vehicle is the amount of options included in the vehicle. So far I have had non of the issues others have had with Sync, and actually think the layout is very intuitive and easy to use. My phone pairs up every time and without issues, although I've only had the vehicle for a couple weeks, let's give it time......The biggest disappointment is with the fir and finish though...the wheel-well inner liners are not the right side for the inside of the fenders, they are stretched because they are too small. Various interior panels just don't line up or don't fit properly, Ford logo fading on the front grill, driver door keypad falling off. For a $50k vehicle I expect non of these issues. There's more but it escapes atm, going to the stealership tomorrow to get these things sorted out. All in all a great ride.....tbc
