Have you tried doing a hard reset of the APIM by disconnecting the battery cables and shunting them together?

I did find that option in Forscan and had it turned off, although one of my rear turn signal LEDs is out. Apparently even though you turn the function off, you will still get hyperflashing if a bulb dies.

Don't waste your time with fog lights, they are for the most part only cosmetic. HIDs are really your only option and work really well. Many people suggest the Morimoto HIDs, and even though they are well made (I have them myself), there are plenty of other options for half the price or less. It is not a hard install at all and you should be able to handle it as there are plenty of videos and instructions on how to do it.

What a waste of resources. I bet there will be lots of people paying $60K + for a track ready SUV, I can't believe I just used those two words in the same sentence. Fordguy has a point. Typical automaker, focus on new crap that may or may not sell rather than fix things you F%$ked up the first go around. Seems like there is options now on things that are standard in current Edge vehicles. Again, makes sense.

Just wondering if anyone knows which 2 of the 3 wires that go to the driving light/turn signals to tap to prevent turn signal hyper flashing?

Has anyone been able to shoehorn a 10" sub into the own enclosure? Recommendations for said subwoofer upgrade would be appreciated along with stock sub impedance would be very helpfully. I thought I've seen something on the forums about this before but can't find it now. Thanx in advance.

I think the whole backup camera purchasing is a craps shoot. I bought the BT4Z19G490B for a 2011 edge sport and the picture is also upside down. Others purchased the same part and claim success. Buy more than one and return the remainder if you get lucky enough to have one work right.

The glass on the mirrors doesn't seem to get warm at all. TBH I don't even remember if they worked before as it's not something I would check regularly.

Yes they are heated. They have a symbol. I'll check with an ir gun.

We had some freezing rain today and noticed the heated mirrors were doing nothing. Rear defroster works fine but mirrors frozen solid. Any ideas?

I also may or may not have done this, and as posted earlier very simple to accomplish. TBH though, how ford can charge people for this POS Navigation blows my mind. I have never used anything so slow and cumbersome in my life.

Hope someone can help me figure out where to source the cup holder led lights or get a part # at least. Anyone have a schematic to see if it's a ring or just led lights that sit inside the ring? According to my dealer the entire ring needs to be replaced @ $120+. My Edge comes with the ambient lighting and the only thing that stopped working is the led in the cup holder, not a big deal but I'm not replacing if it's $120, that's insane.

I agree, when you spend this much money on a vehicle and claim to compete with the likes of BMW, you should make a product worthy of this. I have had similar issues on my 11 Edge sport. The more people don't take these things for granted and call them out for what they are, the more likelihood that Ford will eventually pay more attention to details.
