i had a dodge truck few years back that the paint on the wheel started peeling, they replaced them all w/ no problems. did want to know what i used to clean them. "soap and water"

i saw a vue today, and hands down the Edge wins!!!! didn't look at the inside, and have not drove one. but in the looks only department it's tough to beat the Edge.

may have to look into those. I'd like black ones, they'd be nice to knock the dirt/mud off w/.

I see lots in Tulsa and Broken Arrow Oklahoma none as pretty as my black one though:)

they wanted around 30 month extra when i bought it at 72 months told them NO not interested, then they offered it for 20 month extra still said no, because that was still 1200 I'd pay around 5-700 maybe if the deductible was resonable if it extended it to 100K or 5yrs. after reading about the trannys i'll definately be thinking about it over the next year or so.

when i read the option chrome clad wheels all I saw was CHROME and didn't even pay attention to clad. sadly mine will never show up missing (kinda luck i have) Live and Learn

i have an 87 camaro iroc that my cousin bought new. the hood had to be repainted under warranty because it was fading quickly. long story short--21 years later the hood looks GREAT the rest is faded now. new paint job may not be that bad of an idea!!! I'd still be very very upset and fight it til they bought it back and gave a hell of a good deal on another. say a FULLY LOaded at no extra cost. i bought one couple weeks ago for the wife to drive. i kinda get depressed cause i only get to drive it maybe once a week. wished i'd just leased it and saved some money and turned around and leased myself one. i get a kick out of how many i see driving around now.

WOW that sucks. I'd fight it til they were on since you have already paid for them. i didn't receive those little rubber deally's for the cargo area but haven't told them yet. it was a $65 option i paid for on the extra options. not sure of your laws but i believe you have 3 day's to return the Edge if you bought it new. though i'm not 100% sure of that, but have heard that.

used as well. went to walmart and had one made (chevy said it wouldn't work because of a chip in the key) worked fine for me and only cost couple of bucks.

LOOKS!!!! it is extremely sexy to look at, and i thought my wife would look Hot in it. (she does) after driving it i decided it felt very sporty (they should make it even more sporty though) and needs more power down low/mid. i'll stop now that i'm nitpicking.

i hate to be rude, but you all mind telling the $$ for installing these items? thanks

did they recommend how to clean the wheels? or what to use? i wanted the painted but the chrome "looked really nice w/ my black paint" so i didn't request a change.

someone w/ the 17" wheels probably decided to take them for their Edge.

Good for you!!! it's funny that they pull this crap, probably less than $50 to replace it. my local chevy dealer did this to me after i bought my Tahoe. over a key they lost a sale of a car (hello Ford). Ford best treat me GooD, if not i'll be heading to the foreign side (honda treated pretty good back in 2000)

i've got just over 600 miles and city getting 17 highway bumping 20-21w/ some stop and go. Both vehicles look good. flip a coin:) on a scale of 1-10 i'd give the Edge a 9 and some change. i'd like more power (but w/ little better mpg) HID's (but that's fixabel) 20's are rough riding no matter what i think. 18's are just about right. i'd like a choice of a regular sunroof (cheaper) i didn't want ANY rattles down the road so i opted not to get the fancy roof. doubt you'll regret either decision.

my best friend was stationed at Germany in the mid 90's, he offered to fly me over and pay for everything (and bring the wife along) We didn't go. probably should have "just went and dealt w/ it later" It is easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission. (heard that somewhere, and it seems to work) maybe flowers <shrug shoulders> Good Luck

i've got a couple of S turns close to home that i like to have a little fun on. i can definately tell it's top heavy but it can definately hold it's own:) especially w/ AWD. one turns 35mph i usually take at 60-65 in other vehicles, on the CBR1000 80-90mph. i love the way the EDGE handles. when it dries up and warms up some i'm going to see what the EDGE can do it at:)

I'm interested as well. is it for the FWD only or can it go on the AWD (that's what i got) I'm looking for a slightly more aggressive sound and Hopefully better MPG.

motorcycles come with that arrow also. you "usually" can run them mounted either way EXCEPT in the rain. some of the guys who go to the track will turn the tire to get the use out of the other side of the tire to save some bucks. i imagine "rain" would be the main reason for this. my 2cts.

main complaint: i'd like to see PRNDL illuminated on the dash somewhere. (dumb complaint, but i've alway's had it and keep looking for it) i do have the "glare" on the windshield but doesn't bother me too much. could use a 10" sub rather than the 8" for a deeper bass beat. something on rear bumber to eliminate scratches (looking into this for that clear stuff for headlights) MPG are not what i'd expected. i expected w/ easy driving to get 20-22 easily, but it's pretty difficult w/ any stop and go driving to get 18-19. Heavy vehicle/AWD, 18" wheels are ALL to blame though. so we'll deal w/ it. HID's should be standard at least on SEL and LImited. Still LOVE this vehicle regardless of the nit picking.

Chouteau, OK about 35 miles East of Tulsa!! nice little small town (amish town, even got a hitching post for the horses at the local grocery) I do like the black (also have a black cbr1000 and black 87 Iroc-z, and my son 18 has a 05 Silverado SS) we go to Enid every so often for my wife/son's bowling tournaments. i bought her this Edge during a tournament in Springfield MO.

i've Never liked Ford, until 03-01-2008, i've avoided them like the plague. (my dad had bad experience years ago which soured both of us) Needless to say 2 years ago he bought a new Merc. Montego which He LOVES for my mom. I decided to give them a try, WOW have i missed out on great vehicles (knock on wood) That consumer report made me very happy w/ my decision on my new Edge. congrats Ford for getting me hooked. now why can't my 07 have Sync????

Hello All, you have a pretty nice forum here, i hope to learn some new stuff. purchased a New 07 Edge SEL-plus AWD 3-1-08. i know it was a year old but i think i gotta a decent price for it. tell me if i did, if i didn't please don't tell me. I had a 02 Tahoe LT nearly fully loaded (no nav/tv's, bose) w/ 109000miles 4x4 that needed traded in. (technically paid for, but only on paper) the most i was offered anywhere was $8000. so i hit a different dealer in a different state to see what they have. i see Black Edge, decided quickly that's the one. loaded EXactly like i would have ordered one. stickered $33270 prem. pkg, trailertow, audiophile, ???some other stuff... showed the trade @ $11,6xx (remember the most i'd been offered anywhere else was $8K plus additional $1000 rebate ended up financing @ 3.9% $20,800 after trade-in (in my eyes i gave approx.$28,800 had i not traded) figured i still got $8K trade w/ lots of rebates (back to dealer) I felt i could have gotten at least $1K more off but i was in a HUGE hurry to surprise the wife while it was still light out (made it only by minutes) She was HAPPY, but not w/ black (hard to keep clean) Nice to meet everyone here for those of you who actually read all this:)
