  1. Why do you say you change the oil filter from the top? All 3 engines use the standard canister type filter.
  2. Adaptive Cruise is available in the Drivers Package.
  3. Not sure if you're looking at the order guide or not regarding options. Heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and adaptive cruise are available on both Titanium and Sport.
  4. The scheduling aspect of it has to do with your dealer and if they have an allocation for an Edge order and what "priority" they submitted the order in as. Some high volume dealers will get their orders in the very next round of scheduling, which happens early Thursday mornings. If it doesn't get scheduled one Thursday, you have to wait at least another week.
  5. In case anyone is bored. http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/2015-Edge-Owners-Manual-version-1_om_EN-US_12_2014.pdf
  6. Finally got to see the Cognac interior. Reaffirms my decision on that color. Looks a little more upscale than the regular black I'm used to.
  7. Caulfield works for DST, the company who orders and preps the Marketing vehicles for Ford.

  9. Don't expect this to become available in the US, ever. Wouldn't want to steal sales away from the Explorer.
  10. Too bad BOF makes you join their forum to see the guide.
  11. Inflatable belts optional on all models, standard on 302A Titanium package. Not sure what a rear torso bag is.
  12. Yes, the 21" wheel option comes with AS tires. Summer only tires are optional for the 21" wheels.
  13. I saw a production Sport in Electric Spice (Sport only color) a few weeks ago at a McD's near HQ. It was very sharp looking and much improved over the current model. Very modern and a huge eye catcher. I only wish it was available with a 3rd row like China is getting. It would be handy if you needed to haul more people in a pinch but don't want an Explorer or Flex everyday. To me, the Edge is the perfect size for an SUV especially now that it's a little longer. The Explorer is okay, just too wide for my taste.
  14. That's the because all Explorers use the same bumper facia which allows for a hitch. The Edge Sport has a unique lower rear facia so no hitch.
  15. Almost everything is available on both models except roof rails and trailer tow package are not available on the Sport. Summer only tires are an option on the Sport but not the Titanium. Both models are available with heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel and heated rear seats depending on if you get the 401A (Sport) or 301A, 302A (Titanium). The Sport comes standard with Adaptive Steering while it's an option on the Titanium in the Titanium Driver's Package.
  16. The Sport is all SEL content plus...The Sport 401A is the highest trim level.
  17. No wheels are listed as chrome clad. They are either polished, painted or low gloss.
  18. Side rails are not available with the Vista Roof on the Titanium. Side rails are not available at all on the Sport, Vista Roof or not.
  19. • BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-traffic Alert • Auto-dimming Driver’s Exterior Mirror Voice-Activated Navigation System & Integrated SIRIUS® Travel Link Note: SIRIUS® Travel Link Includes 6-month Prepaid Subscription 48 Contiguous States. Service Not Available In AK/HI Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning with Brake Support Panoramic Vista Roof® 21” Aluminum Premium Painted Tarnished Dark Low Gloss Wheels Summer Only Tires1 (requires 21” Premium Painted Wheels) Engine Block Heater Bronze Fire Metallic Tinted Clearcoat Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat White Platinum Metallic Tri-coat Paint 2nd Row Outboard Inflatable Safety Belts Some of these are included in the 401A package.
  20. HP and TQ won't be listed until the final testing is complete, which will be closer to production time. Same for the weight. Power folding mirrors are not available on any Edge. SEL lists they have signal indicators while Titanium and Sport get LED indicators.
  21. Although I'm unable to post the actual guide I can answer any questions about it's contents. Don't ask where I got it either. Update: As of the latest order guide (3/31), 21" dark stainless Sport wheels and 21" summer tires are no longer on "late availbilty". Can be ordered now. No mention of Sync 3.
