  1. After I picked up my Sport and was looking over the window sticker for the 100th time I noticed they misspelled the word "perforated" when describing the seats. This appears to only be an issue on all the Sport ones I've seen but the Titanium ones are correct. http://www.inventory.ford.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=2FMTK4AP1FBB12089
  2. Even after a rain storm the silver still looks good.
  3. After going back and forth between getting an Edge or an MKC I finally made a decision to get an Edge after my dealer got me out of my lease early. Then I had to decide if I wanted a fully loaded Titanium or a Sport. Both had similar sticker prices and the payments were within a few dollars of each other. Really wanted the tow package and heated steering wheel on the Titanium but the major draw to the Sport was the engine and the overall look. Decided on the Sport sight unseen and without even test driving a Sport. I have driven the other engine options and was less than impressed overall with the Edge but the Sport changes everything! Has effortless power and is so smooth and quiet on the freeway. Couple items I already don't like in the interior but they are minor. I am really happy with my choice and I love the seats. Tried the A/C seats to see how they perfomed over the ones in my '13 Flex and they are totally improved. The Flex I could barely feel the cool air on the seat cushion and the back portion was only slightly better, even on high. With the Edge I could feel cool air within 20 seconds from both seat and back. More pics to follow after window tint on Sat.
  4. Build date is the day the completed vehicle rolls off the end of the line.
  5. So my dealer finally got a Titanium AWD 2.0L in that I took for a test drive. It had plenty of power when driven on side roads and the freeway. I was impressed by all the features of the 302A package but I just didn't feel comfortable driving it. Seems like they made the interior wider, similar to the Explorer where you cannot rest your arm on the door panel. The whole experience of the vehicle didn't sit well with me. The exterior rear just sits too high and makes the whole thing look awkward. Made me rethink my choice of next vehicle. A day later I took the kids to drive an MKC, even though we kind of weren't impressed with the Escape Titanium we drove a few weeks ago. There is NO comparison between those two. The interior is fantastic with soft leather seats and very tasteful colors. The ride is also much nicer with a better overall driving experience. Needless to say I fell in love with the MKC and will be looking into getting one in the very near future. Plus the MKC is much cheaper than a similarly equipped Titanium Edge on a lease. Granted the Edge is a bit bigger but I really don't need a bigger vehicle anymore.
  6. Doesn't auto correct tend to choose commonly used words? Just sayin...
  7. You might want to call Ford Credit to make sure your salesman is correct. Sometimes they are misinformed about the end of leasing process as not many people want to extend it. They would rather have another new vehicle.
  8. You can try to find a dealer to buy out your lease at any time and they would then resell it on their lot. However, they will always give you a lowball offer versus what the current buyout is. It will probably be thousands away which you will have to pay the difference either in cash or rolling into your new lease. You can also turn it in early but that also requires you to pay the remaining payments. If you have less than 120 days left on your lease, Ford Credit will not allow any dealer to buy it out. They do offer the Early Bird program ocassionally which waives up to 3 remaining payments if your lease end date falls within their set dates at the time. You are also allowed to extend you lease past it's termination date but only if you are waiting for a vehicle you ordered to be delivered to the dealer. I know someone who extended their lease for over a year while waiting on a '13 MKZ that was being held at the plant for various reasons when that vehicle first launched.
  9. Some will play dumb so you'll buy a vehicle they have in stock. If you have any issues, call the Marketing Dept. 800-334-4375
  10. There is no official start date on the '16's. Last min bugs are being worked out of Sync 3 and I will assume it will be ready in time for the '16. Sync 3 is a pretty nice system with zero lag and the map scrolling is very smooth.
  11. PM me your vin and email, I'll check it tomorrow.
  12. You can use it with the Costco program. The only one you cannot use it with is A-plan, which is for employees and their immediate families. As for using it with an ordered vehicle, your dealer can use "incentive protection", that will lock in any incentives and coupons available at the time of ordering. If they are better when you take delivery you can use those instead.
  13. It's basically a vinyl sticker that goes on top of the rear bumper cover. http://accessories.ford.com/exterior/covers-and-protectors/rear-bumper-protector-8958.html
  14. Trust me, the Technology Pkg is available on the 300A. Always refer to the official Order Guide to see what options are available with each trim package. The Order Guide can be found in another thread on the site.
  15. You can get BLIS on a 300A, which does not have the heated/cooled seats, if you opt for the Technology Pkg.
  16. Waldo is refering to the production units that are driven a few months before the OK to buy is given. They usually travel in packs of 3-4 on a specific route and have a data logger running. The drivers are PT and the pay is not all that great. Would be a good second job or for someone younger going to school. The engineers drive the prototype units while the vehicle is still in development.
  17. My dealer got one in yesterday so I'm going tomorrow for a test drive. Unfortunately it's a SEL but it will give me a good idea what to expect. They have a Sport that has been released to the trucking company so it should arrive any day now.
  18. Just because they are on the website doesn't mean they are available. The 21" wheels have a Late Availbility on them. You can still order them, it's just your vehicle will not get scheduled for build until they are available.
  19. I remember that. The Probe really sharp in yellow and it's too bad they never made them in that color.
  20. Not at all. That is not the same color as the picture above.
  21. Looks more chocolate colored than the one in the video posted a couple weeks ago. Was going to get that interior but have since changed my mind to the ceramic color.
  22. What's the point of the 2015.5 designation since the vin will either reflect it as a '15 or '16? Kind of how all the first year Mustangs were technically 1965's.
