I've heard this before but I read in a car mag that a lot of times the first model year will have more options or better quality built into the car because it's the first year. As changes go on year by year manufactures will find ways of saving money on cheaper parts so they can make the money back from the development of the car. Something to think about.

I have a Drawtite Hitch that I removed from my 2013 Sport. I just bought the car with the hitch installed and I don't use it. I have all the hardware except the wires you use to fish the bolts in the frame but I'm sure you could make those pretty easily. This hitch is in good condition. only the receiver can be seen when installed.. I also have the complete wiring harness for a trailer. I'd like $80 for the Hitch and $30 for the wiring harness plus shipping. I read some where on the forum the one of the differences with the 2012 and 2013 edge is the hazards went to an actual mechanical button.

Know this is an old thread but drove from Atlanta area to Louisville. 21 MPG. I had to consciously keep it under 72 MPH.

Sold my 07 Cadillac STS and purchased a Loaded Silver Edge Sport.w/30K. I really enjoyed my STS but the lack of a sync type interface and high cost of repairs started to get old. More space was a plus also. My edge came with a trailer hitch and the car fax said the trans was replaced at 23K. I plan on removing the hitch and possibly selling it just because I don't like the look. Car runs and drives great. Hope I can learn new things about the car and share experiences. Happy Holidays!
