  1. Thanks for the info, I'll have the hood looked at by the dealer on Monday. I figured it was normal... Guess not... I'm still mad about the ticket since there is no way I was going 82 with the cruise set on 75. He probably clocked the guy catching me in the POS Dodge... Guess the Massachusetts State Police needed some revenue from out of state plates, and a trooper was having a bad day.
  2. Does anyone else notice that the hood actually shakes up and down in the wind and during bumps on the highway? I didn't think this was all that big of a deal until today... I was pulled over by a state police officer and cited for speeding at a "lidar" speed significantly faster than I was traveling. My family was in the car, cruise control on, etc. there is no way I was going that fast, and since I have police officers in my family, I tend to believe all police officers at their word.
  3. Anyone know how to make the flashing circle around your current location point on the navigation screen disappear? I like having the map up for reference in the city, but the flashing circle is distracting. It goes away when following a route, but for general navigation It flashes constantly.
  4. No issues at all with my 2015. I'm new to Sync so all the options, displays, etc took a bit of a learning curve for me to figure out. With that being said, is there any way to customize the menu on the screens to the left and right of the Speedometer? I am finding that I only use a few off the screens, a quick toggle between the most frequently used screens would be nice. Thanks.
  5. Sorry... Selected file, but didn't know I also had to click "Attach"
  6. For those considering the new EcoBoost, it is performing well for me... Attached is a picture of the instrument cluster on my Ti AWD while cruising on a flat section of highway at 77 MPH. Notice the low RPM and 25.8 MPG fuel ecomony. Ran about 80 miles for this result in rolling highway terrain, along with about 7 miles of city driving, and a stop at a drive-thru. Very impressive IMHO and not too far off the estimated 28 MPG which I would probably achieve at a lower speed... I was also surprised by the low RPM range and lack of engine noise. Even excellerating around other cars, I did not generate RPM spikes above around 3500 RPM and engine noise was minimal.
  7. 10 weeks exactly for my delivery last week... Two of those weeks were spent sitting at the destination rail-to-truck transition point waiting for the truck driver to load my vehicle vs other vehicles destined for dealers in this area. This extra couple weeks was annoying, but completely out of the control of Ford or my dealer... Anyway, after a few days of driving, I love my Ti AWD Ecoboost. Plenty of power in all speed ranges up to 80 MPH. They are not kidding that it drives like a V6. I actually think it drives better than the V6 based upon my initial experience.
  8. I would have ordered the sport if they offered the ceramic interior... Black on black just didn't catch my eye. Sad that I couldn't get the 300 HP Ecoboost but I'll save on gas.
  9. Still nothing... It was expected on Monday.
  10. Roughly 3 weeks for VIN (your dealer should provide this once it is created), another 2 weeks for the window sticker (research maniacs website), then 7-10 days for build date (Ford ETIS website)... Transportation from the factory to your dealer is the big variable. Anywhere from 4 days to 4 weeks depending on railroad schedules, truck loads scheduled for your dealer, and a lot of other factors mostly outside the scope of control of Ford or your dealer.
  11. My Ti 2.0 AWD was build on 21-April, hoping for delivery soon... I am currently driving a 2003 Volvo that needs work. Didn't get a great deal on trade, so I want to make the rounds at local used car lots to see if I can get a few hundred more for it. Can't sell too soon but, at the same time, I don't want to have the extra car once the new one shows up.
  12. @trsundstrom : When was your build date? I'm trying to get a feel for transit time from Oakville via rail...
  13. This is a great thread. Thanks for sharing all this information... Does anyone know how long a completed vehicle will sit in the lot in Oakville prior to rail shipment? I ordered my Ti AWD 2.0 in early March, the window sticker was able to generate a production date of 13-April via the Research Maniacs site (researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Number-Lookup/WindowSticker/Ford.html), and ETIS (www.etis.ford.com) shows a build date of 21-April. Just a guess, but it seems the window sticker is probably generated when material is pulled and the actual build date in eTIS is when it rolls out the back door... The custom order tracking website (http://www.cotusb.ford.com) does not seem to work, from a few other websites threads it seems that it won't even show a vehicle after you're driving it off your dealer's lot... I'm in Cincinnati, so I am hoping for less than a week sitting in Oakville, maybe a week on the rail system, and another couple days on the back of a big rig.
