Last year I changed coolant and trans fluid at ford,I am scheduling air bag recal replacement and having both PTU and rear diff done along with my normal every 3000 mile oil change ,motor raft fluids only.

After reading about ptu issues and fluid no longer being lifetime ,I need an updated maintenance schedule, what about airbag recalls,has anyone done this?

I have a 7" android gps/radio/dash cam/revers cam unit in my 07 SEL for 5+years works perfectly it's made for the edge/f-150 it fits perfectly and plug +play !plugs rite into existing ford plugs,sometimes rear subwoofer can be a little tricky on some units.I bought on eBay from China $265 , sorry I don't know how to setup links.

I don't have the link,sorry!they have 3-4 different ones from $5-$15 eBay search DRL switch ,the switch on my 07 edge has lasted years,2 sets can run off 1 switch.

They have a switch on eBay that I use, only 2 wires + and neg to battery ,tiny box that senses when the car is running on or off ,starts up LEDs when I turn car on shuts LEDs when I shut. Off car,it senses alternator power,Ihave 2 sets of LEDs in my 07 edge.simple install.I am also installing in my 2019 SEL(5 bucks) from China,you can also use the extra wire for turn signals(switchbacks)if u want.its exactly whatsneededfor adding DRLs to an edge.ebay DRL switch.

I did not expect to hear that! The engine noise I was talking about was sitting in the car hearing noise.sounded fine outside the car,anyway,noise seemed to fade after hitting 500 miles,Engine breaking in ? But now it sounds like a sewing machine and that's fine.also installed the hood insulation from ford.

Just paid $132 to buy it from ford parts dept.I could not believe it was missing on my new 2019 SEL I believe it protects hood paint, soundproofing,insulation and keeps wiper fluid lines from heat dry rot.it snapped rite in place with included clips.

I had to buy the engine hood blanket from ford parts dept.they stopped putting them on @ factory,I feel it's a nessary part of the car, protects hood paint from heat,sound insulation,protects washer fluid lines from dry rot, cost me $132 from parts dept.snapped rite in under the hood comes w/fastened that pop rite into pre made holes in hood.parts dept guy couldn't believe it wasn't factory installed on my sel.it belongs on the car!,

I sat in 2 different cars w/ 2.0 EB and they don't have the noise that I'm talking about,it seems intermittent now that engine is breaking in a little more.I also have a 07 edge and that 3.5 liter is quieter.dont get me wrong,I love my new edge,but was a little concerned about the sounds.

2019 sel ,noisy padder at idle, doesn't sound like injectors,After reading this post,I looked under hood and there's no hood blanket attached to hood,so I went to dealer and they told me they don't put them on 19-20.The parts dept.could not believe it that the sales dept refused to put one on ,so I had to buy one from the parts dept.for my brand new edge under 500 miles.I explained that that does soundproofing,,protects paint and keeps the heat off the washer fluid lines.cost me $130 for the blanket fasteners the parts guy is giving me.parts guy gave it to me at cost he said,and I will install.

Usually on the Drivers side door jam I just bought a 2019 edge sel ,only put 338 miles on it so far,have only noticed a little sluggish during first couple of miles.when cold here in Boston.after reading this post I won't be driving with the radio on for a while ,listening for these issues,no signs as of yet! 07 ford edge, heard the protector is very low lighting,seen a few used on eBay that people had to take out ,even when they put in aftermarket His in low beams.

That's old school,eBay has DRL switches for $5 ,connect two wires one to battery+/- and this tiny little box senses when car starts and stops running,turning on led/DRLs while car is running and shuts off automatically when ignition is off,senses alternator 14volt vs 12 volt (no more finding wires)

I have two sets of led DRLs,but I seen a light bar license blate bracket for front plate on eBay that fits the edge,it secures a pretty large light bar!

I bought the black background with light gray lettering ford original decals,steering wheel and front and rear badges and they give u a spare off eBay for $20,looks completely factory but black,looks great on my 07 triple black edge
