  1. Do you have a drain plug or just a fill plug? The 2019+ have a different requirement for RDU fluid of just 75W. Unless you're referring to WWWPerfA_ZN0W's comment
  2. ~an hour of random driving, no leaks or unusual noises. Mission accomplished. I will say the fill hole plug is quite tricky to get a wrench on it. Had a breaker bar that wouldn't fit in all the way. Adequate pressure & patience is key. I'm sure someone with a larger tool arsenal might have something that can work better. Feel way better that it's done. Next up will probably be a transmission Drain & fill once we get back from vacation
  3. RDU done. Fluid wasn't terrible, but there was a lot of junk on the drain plug
  4. 2020 SEL AWD PTU drain & fill tonight. Tomorrow an oil change before a road trip to Alabama next week. Fluid still had a brownish tint to it, 17,870 miles. I'll swap it again when I get closer to 30,000.
  5. PTU done. I'll probably swap it again when I get closer to 30,000
  6. You are correct sir. Edited my post to relate. That's what I get for trying to multitask while getting the kid ready for bed.
  7. Not knocking you either. The previous Gen PTU's also stated that they didn't need serviced. Do a little bit of research on the previous Gen PTU issues & you can see that their recommendations/service intervals aren't always accurate.
  8. Seeing how the fluid goes in light brown & comes out black or gray is enough for me to swap it out. Not to mention the shavings caught on each plug.
  9. Just be warned that all dealerships aren't created equal. We have family in Bellbrook/Dayton area & we're down that way occasionally. Adding the horn from the 2015-2018's was one of the 1st things that I did, along with the engine cover & hood insulation & window tint. Also bought a hitch & wiring harness & airbags in the rear to put the edge to work (mostly on weekends).
  10. Where about in Ohio? We're about 45 west of Cleveland in Lorain County. All sorts of information on this site. Our Edge's, 2016 & 2020, have been great. Preventative maintenance is key. I'm getting ready to drain & fill the PTU this week & possibly the rear diff. Congratulations, you'll like it. Post up some pics
  11. Thanks! I thought that Redline was expensive ? Motorcraft XY-75W-QL is over double the cost for 1 qt
  12. Owners manual states 75W, but would Redline lightweight Shockproof work? Is going to be by first swap & I already bought some for the front PTU & getting ready for a road trip. Just wanted make sure that it would be OK. Currently just below 18,000. FordTechMakuloco says that it's specific 75W from Ford so I'm not sure if the ol smurf blood is compatible.
  13. Perfectly normal. Just drained ours in our 2016 2.0L Given enough time, you'll see the oil, gunk, gas, water separate
  14. Not trying to thread jack, but I think the OP meant Intercooler....
  15. The above video is for a 3.5L V6. Front of the engine, just below the intake manifold. Look for 2.0L catch can installs & you should be able to find it.
  16. That was one of the 1st things I did on our 2020. I thought that they changed to the single horn in 2019 though.
  17. They didn't make a 2.0L sport. Sports were only made in 2.7L. 2016 to 2018 Sports were AWD ONLY & 2015 Sports were AWD OPTIONAL.
  18. Heat gun required to get the 1 hard plastic piece on the front side off. My bad, it's $23 now ? Vapor Canister Purge Valve 0280142519 Replacement for Ford Fusion Lincoln MKZ 2.0L Turbo 2013-2016 https://a.co/d/a0kc4gz
  19. I consider your description as a chug/miss or struggling to accelerate. Tomato / Tomato ?
  20. After filling up, for a few miles, every time you pulled up to a stop light/sign, it would idle rough & acted like it was going to stall. Swapped the $22 purge valve (non OEM, which I couldn't find an OEM for anything less than $170 + $20 shipping & included extra pipes/tubing) . After swapping, no rough idle after fillup & mpgs are back up to normal range.
  21. No codes, stumbling at idle after fillup & poor mpgs over the last few tanks & cleaned the MAF after the 1st tank I noticed was bad.
  22. Me thinks that the purge valve on our 2016 SEL Fwd 2.0 Ecoboost was starting to go bad at 56,4xx miles....
  23. Did some errands tonight and the auto start/stop worked as it should. My trip mpg, which I reset after every fill up, shows me at 27.3 mpg for this tank ?
