  1. Two things that you requested are available with a check on/off feature in FORScan. The popular items usually are available to toggle on/off. The climate control in the instrument cluster might take some doing & I'd look over on the fusion or the F150 forums to see what, if anything changed.
  2. What about resetting the Battery Management System?
  3. I use it quite often. I LOVE driving & it can be a hinderance when the lines aren't marked clearly, but it's there to keep you in the lane. I don't have the audio notification, I just use the vibration notification. I think that it would help people use their turn signals more than they would. It's not a replacement for paying attention to the road, but it's a nice tool to have. Used it on a trip from Ohio to Florida & back & was very nice to 'relax' a bit while on those long stretches of highway.
  4. Don't forget to drain those catch cans before the blast of cold weather hits
  5. sounds like your A/C drain tube is clogged. Had this happen on my In-Laws CX9 a few years ago. I'm not exactly sure where it's at on the Edge, but On the CX9, it was on the passenger side, by the exhaust, behind the heat shield. All you need to do is to stick up something kinda hard, but some what flexible to stick up the drain tube & clear the blockage OR used some compressed air & blow up the tube.
  6. Letting you know that your headlights/parking lights are on. Only way to turn off, is to turn off your parking lights/headlights.
  7. I'm only aware of pushing the power button if the radio is off & then using the touch screen to get what source you want. If you're using the FM/AM radio, then the < & > button & the right rotorary dial will change the stations.
  8. This light. It will only stay on for a few seconds after the car is Locked.
  9. No. Red light on the door where the old style pop up lock would be for the door
  10. You have the key on you while you're opening the door. It's supposed to do that. Look for a red light where the old lock plunger head would have been. That will let you know if the door is locked or not. If you want to try what you're doing. Lock the door, set key like 10 feet+ away from your edge then try to open the door(s).
  11. check out this thread. On the 2nd page there's pictures & some part #'s
  12. Money is money. As long as you're informed, they're simply doing what you want. Each state is different, but in Ohio 50% is the legal tint on the front & you can have limo tint on the back if you want.
  13. I have a 2016 & a 2020. If I get some free time over the holidays, I'll swap my cover from the 2020 over to the 2016 to see if it fits for you & possibly what points are different. Would be interested in getting 2 if only minor modding needs to be done to the 2020 to get it to fit.
  14. Old age. We live in the rust belt, so that probably doesn't help exposed wire like that.
  15. It's from the starter itself. Replace your starter. Had the same thing happen on my works 2012 E350 & my bosses old Lincoln LT.
  16. On my 2001 focus from years ago, I went through 3 alternators before I found one that wasn't bad. Have them test the alternator before purchase. I got 2 from Napa & 1 from Advance before I got wise & had them test it before I installed it for a 4th time. Never had to replace it, I sold it about 6 years after that.
  17. Wouldn't the shutters block air flow over the radiator? I'm not saying totally, but the restricted air flow 'should' cause the vehicle to warm up faster. The vehicle is under warranty, so if the thermostat needs to be replaced, then it would go to the dealer.
  18. It's not over heating, it's just not getting to operating temp as quickly as I would think it should. I haven't noticed any leaks or smells out of the ordinary, but I'll pay more attention to the exhaust & monitor the coolant reservoir, which is currently full.
  19. It moves a little bit while driving, but definitely takes about 3x's as long to get to operating temp compared to my wife's 2016. I'll have to look at the actual temp on hers & see where it's at when it's operating temp. I believe that it's the same ~180 degrees, but I'm not 100% sure.
  20. Took the wife's 2016 Edge Fwd on the same route this morning ~37 degrees out & took roughly 2 miles to get up to operating temp. I did sit at a red light for about a minute, no ac or defrost on. Besides the 25mph zone to get to main road & the red light it's a 55mph zone. I should have took the laptop & logged it to see the differences.
  21. Thanks for those. Looks like it's only available on 2020 titanium & ST trims with 301a & 401a options. I swear it was both of them, oh well. Thanks for the information again! Tint seems to be a better all around better option & cheaper ?
  22. Got my front windows tinted. I went with 35% and I think it matches the back nicely, but my tinter said that the rears are usually 20% from the factory, but I do like to be able to see out of them at night. Other cars with LED lights don't blind me anymore at night. Which brings me to my next question. My wife's 2016 Edge has auto darkening side mirrors, but mine doesn't. Both are SEL's. Is there a package that I missed? She does have the technology package, but I have the cold weather package. I'd need to find her window sticker to compare them.
