It’s been really nice. I have about 60k so they needed replacement anyways. I have only driven maybe 10 miles with them but only seem to loose grip in the front in heavy corners. I changed the bump stop height too. The cars stance seems a little higher in the back but when I do the front it should even out l. They have some on rock auto for my 15 but it looks more complicated and I don’t have a lift or garage haha ?

so you cant tell if the car feels unbalanced or not due to the different compression and rebound rates?

The ford motorcade rear shocks tend to hit the bump stop to early for my taste. I ordered some bilstein b6. pn 24-283113. Bought a master pro fm1586 bump stop. Cut it out to fit the top butterfly aluminum price that mounts the top of the shocks. I cut the price to fit and had a master mechanic look at it before I put it on. Just polished the aluminum with a wire brush from Walmart the hart brand has nice ones for like 6 bucks. I had some combined covers for the shocks. Can post pics if wanted.

so im currently working with bilstein to get B6 options for the front of the car too so we can balance it out.  how did the B6's work for you just being in the rear?

    Don’t apply to what ?

Snmjim's and my edge usually doesnt apply to most of the general information around here.....damn near 600 crank horsepower will do that to ya ?

I run the $17 Ford Motorcraft and real happy with it.

Its highly unlikely that the engine can ingest/swallow the volume of air that the stock air filter's flow restriction inhibits performance.

    I beg to differ ?

but maybe i dont apply lol

Guys I’m new to all of this this and would like to put all of this on youtube for us and everything if that’s fine and I’d definitely like to have my done as well! I’m gonna vlog all my mods; willing to be a test bed for upping the boost beyond 600 plus hp level! So if you guys could point me in the right direction that would be great!

Hey sportman!  SNMJim and I have taken the edge platform as far as it can go without a custom turbo setup (which we looked into and deemed not practical due to the headifold design.  We have hit 483 awhp and 545wtq with hybrid turbos.  We highly recommend ZFG Tuning for pushing the platform as they are the only ones support FBO Edges right now.  If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Thats pretty darn quick... but it better be for $70,000 ...  Still not a fan of BMW but they have definitely done well with the M line performance.

I love my 335D, super unique car and platform.  inline 6 twinturbo diesel.  intercooler, downpipe, and tune 348whp and 606ftlb.....did i mention 44mpg on the hwy and 30 around town?

Cold air intakes relatively speaking do not add much of anything, spend your money on a worthwhile upgrade ie: tune, instead. Unless of course you're dead set on the CAI.

This is not true, a true CAI does in fact help and has been proven to help.  BUT a short ram intake (sucking hot air from engine bay) does not help with power.

Hello from Va - Purchased a 2018 Sport late last year and found this forum. White Platinum / Ebony interior, Cold Weather pkg, and upgraded radio.   I currently have a LMS tune on the way and looking forward to seeing the improvement the tune brings!

    Looks good and welcome!

Can you please mention it here as well if catted pipes come available.

If recall right, there is a highflow cat option BUT we are trying to source better ones right now

I’m fine with the catless and defoulers, but would my current LMS tune need to be remapped?  I don’t know all the F/A ratio algorithm theory and how the pre & post O2 inputs affect that, but it seems there would be something in the tune that would have to account for the changes in O2 inputs.  Im good as long as I could get the tune to take full advantage of the extra flow of a catless system.

Yes our LMS tune would need to be adjusted to take full advantage of the setup.

If these were catted I might be interested, but unfortunately "insufficient catalyst" codes are inevitable with a catless setup.

This is terrible misinformation, please ask people running said downpipes about their experiences and the like before posting irrelevant and misleading information for community consumption.

As long as appropriate defoulers are used there will be no issues.

    Congrats and welcome to forum!

The 2017 explorer bolt pattern is 5x114.3

The 2015-2020 Edge bolt pattern is 5x108

    The hub size is 63.4

You need to find wheels from 2015+ Edge, MKX, Nautilus, Jaguar, Volvo a few others that escape me at the moment.  Once you check the bolt pattern, and hub size. You have to check the offset.

Here is a link that should help.

    https://www.wheel-size.com/size/ford/edge/2015/

This 4 times over, ALWAYS check hub pattern, bore size, and offset before blindly buying

Who have you submitted it to? Are you looking to get royalties. Have you looked into crowd sourcing?

About 4 companies that produce parts for our cars (there is not many), Yes i want royalties cause this design applies to sport and ST and no i haven't.

Can you tell us more about the custom intake you are using?

I crated an insulated custom box out of hard plastic, pop rivets and fasteners that sucks air from stock location, from behind the head light and a custom forced air duct that leads down to the hole below the fog light.  The intake temps stay around ambient and around 20+ degrees in traffic.

Congrats! Now somebody needs to do something like this to an ST!

The only issue with the ST is the trans, they made a useless gear set with gears 3&7 by using half ratios with those, also the strength of that trans is unknown.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

    UPDATE:

    - I had cleared the code and she hadnt had an issue since. I was going to check the plugs but didnt have time.

-Fast forward to today when she was driving home, the car started hesitating and shuddering under partial throttle (40-60mph). It doesnt happen under harder acceleration or if it downshifts. Im thinking the increased load of being in 6th while at low rpm is doing it. I put the car back on the stock tune and I can still get it to happen, but it's much harder to get it to happen on the stock tune. It's not throwing any codes. I'm going to bite the bullet and check plugs tonight.

Do these symptoms seem normal for a spark/coil issue or should I be checking something else?

    Thanks for the help everyone!
