  1. On my 2013, without vent visors equipped, rain water will flow into the drivers window when making turns. Almost like the roof acts as a small water resovoir

  4. Hey guys. I am considering getting the magnaflow catback kit for my 2013 SE with the 3.5 TIVCT. I have a few questions. Since the exhaust system is installed AFTER all emissions/ford 02 sensor locations, the exhaust kit will not interfere with any air fuel calibrations? The PCM basically won't know there is any difference?
  5. Okay so I need some help. I have two vehicles at home with the Duratec 35. One is my 13 Edge, the other is my Dads 17 Explorer. I am trying to see the timing benefit of 93 octane in my Edge vs 87 octane in his Explorer. Using FORSCAN to look at timing, how come I am seeing negative intake timing values in degrees? Shouldnt it be a positive number? Like negative 30,degrees timing. Shouldnt it be a positive number? Exhaust timing shows a positive number

  10. I'm extremely interested in the info about the Coyote and Cyclone (3.5/3.7 Ti-VCT) and its technology to compensate for 93 octane fuel. Anyone have more info?
  11. Gotcha. My manual does say 87 octane but all promotional material states MPG is tested on 93 octane. Here in NJ we can get 93 any day.
  12. On most Ford promotional material for the 2013 3.5 TI-VCT, it states fuel economy is tested using 93 octane. Any difference in MPG or power?
  13. I prefer using extended performance oils as I like the added protection. I always use an FL-500S.
  14. My manual states WSS-M97B44-D2 and I recently did a coolant change (no flush, just drain and fill) with 2 gallons of Prestone Dex-Cool 50/50. The bottle says it meets WSS-M97B44-D without the 2. Did I use the wrong coolant? Is the D2 a different spec? 2013 Edge 3.5 52k miles. Currently running Castrol Edge 5W20 Extended Performance and an FL500S. I'm an oil nerd and wondering if anyone else is too. Thanks guys!
