Finally got the first one in at our dealership in NW Indiana. Redfire SE FWD with Convienence Group, Rear cargo management, black rail bars.

I think it's 5 years/50K, at least in the US.

The thing that sucks is if you notice the wording "9 speakers in 5 locations" means the tweeters are built in the lower speaker position and not seperate up in the sail panels like the fusion and other cars. I don't know if there is room up in the sail panel for tweeters or if it was a cost cutting move.

Someone with an MSN account needs to report each one that is offensive. There is a link to click at the bottom of each review. These people are just trying to cause problems before the vehicle is even out. Some idiot even said the door fell off of one. WTF?

All you guys do on here is complain about this or that, like it will help the situation. Instead of being so negative about everything, let's think positive. This vehicle could be the best thing that has happened to Ford in along time. This consistant negitivity does not make things better, nor does it look good for the customer. Let's figure out how to make things better.

You can get the entertainment system as a dealer installed option with the vista roof. There are pictures somewhere on the web of it. It's actually pretty cool, each headrest gets it's own LCD panel.

Try looking at and/or cleaning the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), IAC (Idle air control valve), or the MAF (mass air flow sensor). TPS is located on the intake on the throttle body. IAC is attached near the throttle body on the upper intake. MAF is located in the intake hose after the air filter.

I know it's a 9 speaker system (including one subwoofer in the rear cargo area) so 2 speakers per door. 290watts I believe (the "premium" system is around 80 watts). I am not sure about speaker locations, and I have not seen any pictures of the speaker area that shows a seperate tweeter. Maybe someone that builds these things can chime in....

I was thinking the same thing. I am suprised the car magazines (Car and Driver, Motor Trend, etc.) have not had their "first drive" articles on the Edge yet. They had one on the new Mazda CUV already..... Anyone know?

Ford calculates 40% take rate on their product mix page (available on SEL model only). It's the first in the industry made by Wabasto corp.

Pricing is still not in the Ford computer ordering system yet.

That's great that the price dropped. Compare the Vista Roof price on the MKX to the Edge. The same roof on the MKX is almost $2,000.

For the people who build these things, what brand of tires are they putting on them? I heard hankook's for the 17" and continental's for the 18".

The only thing I can think of is they are still trying to firm up the package prices because they made the safety equipment (side curtain and advancetrac) standard and it was optional on their website. But I don't think it's usually this long to get pre production pricing for people that want to pre order.

Anyone have any details on pricing yet? I work for a Ford dealer and when we spec one out, it does not show up pricing yet. I would think it should be updated soon, since they are going to job1 in about a month..... If anyone finds out when they release pricing please post it here. Thanks.
