  1. sorry about the late reply when been extremely busy an our tunes are safe we stay within the parameters until we learn more about the vehicles limits. we been getting good feedback on our tunes stating it fixes a lot of little issues the car had from factory and is more enjoyable to drive we also can make custom adjustments for your personal preference. There is a lot we can do if you want give us your number or give us a call an we can discuss it further 313-561-5500
  2. One thing we learned long ago on EcoBoost is that just because you CAN run X amount of boost doesn't mean you should. Most of our records are set running less boost than others, because it actually makes the same power with less knife edge reliability. Additionally, while the engine is nearly identical to the Sport, the ST has a 100% completely different engine control system, not to mention transmission. We are never ones to go out and throw the hammer down without time and experience on a platform on our side. with nearly 60000 parameters in the ECM on these, restraint and a gradual approach is the right path.
  3. Honestly I don't think it is in octane usage. The only time you see issues with shifting is usually traction issues or on the taurus sho we actually noticed over filling the trans by a pint of fluid actually fixed the non shift issue. To verify it is not traction make sure you have traction control off and see if it persists. Or like sage said you can get a performance tune and that usually help on dialing in the trans.
  4. Well we haven't tested the limit in the ranger yet but our 10 speed mustang holds over 700hp to the ground all day and we are getting ready to push it over 800 now that we put our built engine in it.
  5. We started from scratch as the trans is different then our RS and mustang tunes. But in the end we were really happy with outcome. Now we did not see as big as a gain as the mustang but it also had higher numbers out the factory.
  6. So we were pretty excited about this platform. If any of you are planning or already have one we do offer engine and trans tune for the 19 Ranger. This is carb legal in all 50 states as well. If you have any questions please message me back or call me at 313-561-5500 my name is Jake. https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/shop
  7. Hey guys just wanted to jump in on this. Don't get us wrong we would love to have more mods for these vehicles. The only problem is the cost for research and development and cost of production may not equate in sales in a smaller community of performance. As you know the mustang's and camaro's will always push performance mods but not everyone wants to mod an edge even though they have great potential. Even the fusion's have a small amount of mods out there. But if the platform takes off then you never know you may start to see aftermarket parts being made. Thanks everyone again and feel free to message me or call me at 313-561-5500 my name is Jake.
  8. Hey we offer a device for performance tunes but also you can shut off the auto start stop feature with it. We just have to program it for you. Besides that you would get an increase in gas economy and in power. If anyone has any questions or concerns message me or call me at 313-561-5500 my name is Jake. Thanks
  9. Hey we do also offer military discount as well. Forgot to mention that. Just give us a call for any of these discounts. 313-561-5500 thanks
  10. Hey sorry for long delay. The new ST has different software and the old device will not work on it. You can trade in your old device for a credit. Just give me a call or message me back and I can work you up a deal for an old device even if its not one of ours. Thanks everyone
  11. Yes on our dyno runs we only show the pull and before and after numbers without full printout. Also if there is modifications we will list as well
  12. Awesome passes man I'm glad we were able to shave a whole second just from a tune. No one has made any passes with our tune in the ST edge yet but we are excited to see what it will do. Thanks everyone and let me know if any questions I can help you with.
  13. Yes they did turn these up a little more out of factory then previous models so you do not see quite as big of a gain
  14. Yes we are for sure getting more torque. 25ft/lbs max vs max and between 4-5000 rpms we are seeing about 60ft/lbs over stock.
  15. My apologies for leaving that info out. Actually the boost will fluctuate depending on the torque goal. So it can produce less then stock boost and sometimes more then stock boost. As you know ecoboost engines have a torque goal and will produce whatever pound of boost needed to hit that goal depending on what power we are requesting. But yes on average you should see couple extra pounds of boost over stock. Thanks
  16. That and torque management but just heads up there is still advantages to running the higher octane. Besides power it does get better fuel efficiency. Also these DI engines get build up on back of intake valves and the higher the octane the cleaner it will burn. So on a motor that is port injected it would spray fuel through the valve keeping them cleaner. Now it is direct injection and only air passes through valve which leads to carbon build up. So we still suggest running higher octane fuel. And yes some people drive harder with a tune so gas mileage goes out the window.
  17. Well first question is what octane gas are you running. Because the higher the octane the better mpg you will get. Also if someone wants a boost in mpg and performance our tune works great on these new edge ST's. We have a 91 octane and a 93 octane tune that should see a 2-4 mpg increase in fuel economy of course if you don't floor it all the time from the extra horsepower and torque increase. My name is Jake message me or call me with any questions. Thanks 313-561-5500 https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/product/LPP631155
  18. Great pick up guys. Have fun with the car
  19. Awesome yes if you have any questions don't hesitate to message me or call me. Thanks again
  20. Hey everyone just wanted to give you a reminder that we are already tuning these edge 19 ST. Are customers so far are extremely happy with the tune. Now if any one has any questions message me or call me at 313-561-5500 my name is Jake. Thanks https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/shop
  21. Typically, when revisions are released we let people know on message boards, unless they are a critical update (pretty rare though), we are working on a way to streamline this though so it's easier to push out updates and alert customers. Our new MyCalibrator Touch has a proper registration feature so we should be able to contact people easier. It's not fully utilized yet, but it's in the master plans. We've talked about it for the Sport, but there was never much consumer demand. I won't say no, but it's too early to tell. The more tuners we sell (indication on serious commitment to performance) and people that are inquiring about it, the more likely.
  22. We wanted to jump in here to clear up some questions. Moderators, we did reach out about possibly being a vendor, but for the time being we know there are questions that need answers, so please allow this post. There are really 3 reasons behind the power differences, and gain differences in the 2 different generations of these suv's: #1, this is tune version 1. If you rewind time to 2015 when we released the Edge Sport tune, it was substantially lower than today. Albeit, the gains were higher, but they also made less power stock vs stock as well #2, which really ties in with #1, while the engine is the same, the engine management is completely different from that of the 15-17 version. So there is a learning curve there that we are creeping up on, making certain we are gaining good power, but also not getting so far out there that issues may crop up due to too much being changed vs stock before ensuring proper development and testing time. #3, it's a new trans, without much info or track record. The 6-speed in the Sport had been around for 8+ years at that point, this is the first application of this transmission, so we aren't going to step hard on the engine, to find out the trans can't take it. Those cover the "why" questions on the difference between the Sport, and the ST Now, as to the Sport and it's gains. Yeah, it was just a tune. We had not yet released our thermostat even when that video was made for the first Sport, so there were definitely no parts available. Heck, even today, there are almost no parts available beyond our tuner and thermostat on the Sport. So it really is all tune there. But don't worry, we will continue to improve the calibrations, and our customer's gain access to these future updates at no additional cost as well!
