This is the route I went with after three plastic pans. Doorman makes one with the similar PCV venting as the 2015 OEM so I didn't have to go the valve cover Ford fix. I did it my way, didn't remove anything but the pan, Sawz-alled the corner off the plastic leaky one and carefully ground out a contoured shape to fit the pan back in. No comments needed as to integrity, I decided it was no big deal and well within the boxed part of the frame. No more problems with future R&Rs. I also used Flepro paper Karopak gasket from a guy who makes them on eBay. I applied the holy grail of gasket sealants, Permatex No. 2, as God intended for oil pans Do your own thing with regard to silicon dabbed on seems and perhaps around the vent locations on the pan rail, two small areas. It is fixed, leak free and Ford can stick their plastic pans and zero customer service you know where.
