The car has to come with nav from the factory. I asked the dealer that specific question or I would have bought a car from the lot. Instead I had to order one with nav. 795

I'm in St. louis and Saturday I ordered a burgundy SEL, 202A with nav. No BAMR because of cost and seeing some of the problems reported on this forum. They had 3 in stock, a burgundy, Kona blue and some sort of other blue (teal?). One was Limited, 2 SEL and all had the BAMR. Sales guy said 6-8 weeks but I'm not counting on it.

Hi thebrave, I'm down in St. Louis. I test drove an Edge and will probably buy one, but will need to wait until they can get one with what I want. Did you get some sort of employee discount or were you a regular buyer? May I ask what sticker was and what you paid, and if that included the 1000 rebate? I'm looking for an SEL with the 202(?) package, and nav.

This isn't topping off/up. I have the same problem with my '05 Escape at certain gas stations. It could be close to empty and after only putting in a gallon or two it will shut off. I start adding and it shuts off again within a gallon or two. It may shut off a half dozen times before it's full. Sometimes I give up, just put in a few gallons and go somewhere else that is on my way.

2011 pricing and all of the specs and details are FINALLY on the Ford website! But..... I still get the typical salesman crap. I test drove a Fusion since I didn't know if I wanted a car or a crossover and told the salesman that I wanted to wait and drive an 11 Edge. He said i should just drive a '10 Edge since the 11 won't be much different. Then he said once I drive the Edge, he can help me make up my mind between the Fusion and the Edge.

according to a post on June 16, the 11's are being made simultaneously as the 10's, just at a low ratio. I have heard all kinds of answers with little consistency, but several dealers have told me sometime in august. And ford still doesn't have pricing on their website yet. I am ready to buy, but I drove a murano yesterday, tired of waiting to even see ford pricing on the edge and not just at cars.com

Hey "The Brave". I'm in St. Louis. How did you get pricing? The dealer I have been talking to doesn't have it and it is not on the Ford website. I am also waiting to see what kind of mileage it gets.

Any idea when EPA mileage will be avalable? What about pricing available in US? Isn't it possible that Edges may have different MSRPs in different countries even when the exchange rate is taken into consideration?

I guess my main concern is do I want to spend the extra money if there will be problems down the road, but if the problems are rare I would probably go ahead and get the vista. I meant seeing one at the dealer as seeing an actual car, I know the pricing should be out before then. Any ideas on how long it usually takes from when production starts to when a typical dealer has a decent supply? We have one dealer here in St. Louis that is one of the top Ford dealers in the country so would they have a slight advantage in getting more, sooner? Thanks for the responses.

I agree with parts of both responses in that I am sure one of the aftermarket installers sells to the factory and can be just as reliable if chosen properly. I would prefer factory installed, but after just a little research, the Vista is about $1000 more than a standard powered sunroof that I have on my 05 Escape, which was factory installed. I just don't need to spend 1000 extra for a sunroof that is too big for my tastes when a standard size is sufficient. As far as pricing on the 11, I have not found anything. Back in Feb, a dealer told me they may have one in May or June that I could look at that they will be using for sales training that they will invite some customers to see. I will occasionally see something at "priced around...", but I would like to know specific pricing and mileage. I am ready to get a new vehicle and may just go with something like an Equinox if Ford just teases with pictures, videos and features on their website. I can't believe they do not know pricing and mileage if they are only 2 months away from production. Maybe just trying to sell more '10's?

I believe I read that production will start July 1? Anybody have any idea when pricing will be available on the fordvehicles website? Also, I am not sure about the Vista roof, cost and reliability. Have there been problems with it? Does it void the warranty if I get my own powered sunroof put in? Anybody ever get an aftermarket sunroof? Rough cost? Reliability and quality?

what is a build sheet and what information does it have that is different from the sticker?

Does anybody know when job 1 is for the Edge? Is it basically the same as for the MKX? Will Edge have Ecoboost?

Does anybody have information on when the 2011 Edge will be out? If so, is it just something you heard or is it a good source? I had heard Spring of '10. I asked at a dealer but they knew nothing about it. I don't know if that is true or they just want to sell the 2010's.
