Black exterior Black leather interior Panoramic vista roof I've gone through the manual, can't figure out 1 thing, THE MEMORY SEATS. How can I memorize my seat settings & recall them through the recall buttons (1 & 2) on inside driver's door ? How can I overwrite the previous memorized settings and put my own. frozennuts Posted April 10, 2012 Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 From the manual: Memory seat and mirrors (if equipped) This system allows automatic positioning of the driver seat and outside rearview mirrors, to two programmable positions. The memory seat control is located on the driver door. • To program position one, move the driver seat and exterior mirrors to the desired positions using the associated controls. Press the SET control. The SET control light will briefly illuminate. While the light is illuminated, press control 1. • To program position two, repeat the previous procedure using control 2. A position can only be recalled when the transmission gearshift is in Park (automatic transmission). A memory seat position may be programmed at any time. The memory seat positions are also recalled when you press your remote entry transmitter UNLOCK control and the transmitter is programmed to a memory seat position or when you enter a valid customer code 1 or 2 on the keypad. full_jingbang Posted April 10, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2012 thanks frozennuts, I have tried all the options mentioned in the manual. but nothing worked. press SET then 1 (the setting is memorized) BUT, no it seems not to be working. when I move seat or mirrors and press 1 to recall it doest work. see, this is the problem im having, I also tried to configure it with the remote-key, but with the key it is recalling some one else's setting which i cannot remove. I know it sounds like a simple question, but it could be a detail to the answer to your issue. So it does change when you press the 1 or 2, just not to the setting you tried to set, correct? carbonedge+ Posted April 15, 2012 Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 Sorry, but I don't know what else to tell you. My only memory button issue is when I do restore it, the seat moves back to position (which happens to be as far back as it can go) but the mirrors have a random position they go to but it's not consistent. Sometimes one returns to normal but the other moves up too high. Sometimes they go back relatively close to where I had them set. Just a minor nuance I've learned to deal with.
