Aftermarket unit

Recommended Posts

I have the MyFord Touch but without the Nav option. After looking at the above post www.driveav.com I was wondering do you think its possible to remove the MyFord Touch Head unit, replace it with the one that is pictured in Darkriff's post to achieve on screen Nav. also I found this a while back emailed them didn't get any answer to my question specifically how much will this cost. www.mocar.us look interesting.

If you watch the video closely and watch his fingers ... access to this appears to be like the lockpik system whereby you hold down the phone button on the steering wheel and their NAV system takes over the screen some how.

Questions I'd ask are, 1) how long will that display stay on screen and can anything interrupt or reset it on screen. 2) what if any are the limitations of switching to NAV, entering destinations, etc while vehicle is in motion. 3) will its activation interfere with the access to or operation of the connected BT phone or music connection.

I love options ... and this looks pretty good for people who don't have the factory NAV option.
