Nowak1981
I finally came up with enough money for wheels tires and springs so now my next project is either gonna be brakes or headlight conversion. I was windering if anyone has purchased those black zinc coated rotors and have had them installed for a while. Are rhe cooling fins still black or are they showing signs of rust. I understand that the braking surface itself will loose its color, but i was wondering if the excessive heat messes with the coating on the rest of the rotor. Id like to buy a set of ebc for all four corners but not if they are going to show rust after a year or so of use.
Feirstein
I purchased gray zinc coated and slotted rotors off of ebay about 3 months ago and have only good things to say about the purchase; and the price was right. Combined with AutoZone's top of the line pads and Ford's latest power booster for my 07 Edge, it has never stopped better.
Dingo
EBC rotors will rust pretty badly.
