nickturri86
I have a '11 edge limited. I'm trying to remove the silver pieces on the door to wrap them. I've seen how to remove center console. Has any one done this and can provide me with some pointers and picks or a link that's been done before. Thx

Lola
That's funny. I couldn't figure out how someone could be queasy with regard to the interior. Gotta love auto-correct.

akirby
My dad had an orange 1974 AMC Hornet station wagon with an orange plaid interior. That definitely made me queasy........
2011edgese
you know what makes me queasy, is the hard bump I get from my transmission on. I get it sometimes not all the time but when I get it I get weed, because I don't want to go to the dealer and get the runaround
2011edgese
last time I got the transmission thump was when I came to a rolling stop, haha I love the power of the carƱ sounds awesome.. but it did not help and give me a loud boom thump.I kept looking up the rear view mirror and I swear I thought I was going to be my transmission on the road. I thought for sure it fell all off Edited February 18, 2014 by 2011edgese
ls973800
Bite the bullet, have the dealer at least get it into their files for any future failure. There are several TSB's for the problem, but you will have to go to the dealer. Edited February 18, 2014 by ls973800

CMOS
Had the same problem on my Edge. Had to go through 2 different visits. One to address a TSB that called for drilling out some ball bearings in the transmission. Another visit was to have a programming update to the ECM to change the shift points. Once that last fix was done, the car acts completely different and completely eliminated the problem.

I get scared of them drilling a hole to get a ball bearing out.you know how people say that once a new tranny Greys opened up, it leaks earlier. Btw... Does the tranny get pulled out completely?
