Cruiser64 Posted March 18, 2014 Report Share Posted March 18, 2014 Ok guys I would like to remove my factory side roof rails but I cant seem to find a how to on doing so. I've read on the removal of the rubber strips to prepare to put on the side rails but not the reverse. Where do I start and if any pics are out there that would be great. ReactiveD Posted August 6, 2014 Report Share Posted August 6, 2014 I just traded mine with a member. The end caps pop off toward you upward. There are 4 bolts on each end. The strip at this time is only held on my the center strip bracket which is the same with or without the rails. You will have fill the outter holes leaving 1 for the new bracket. Gradvohl Posted September 25, 2014 Report Share Posted September 25, 2014 I also want to remove my Edge's roof rack and don't know how I cover the spaces where the rack is attached. Is there any original part that can be bought? Where I live, there are only the models with VistaRoof that do not have the roof rack, so I can't check out how to do it.
