brucesmays Posted November 3, 2007 Report Share Posted November 3, 2007 Left this morning and drove to Corpus Christi TX. 165 miles, set the cruise control at 75 almost the whole way. lots of fog, nobody on the road. Car is nice on the freeway. Came back late afternoon. Got in a caravan behind a BMW 750 and Land Rover going 95-100 almost the whole way back. I was amazed at how calm and well behaved the Edge is at that speed. My 05 Escape was scary at over 85mph. Drove almost 150 miles at those speeds. Made is down and back on 1 tank of gas, with some to spare. MPG for the tank of gas was 19.28. Not bad for flying. i think we passed Santa Claus.
