I traded my 07 Edge in a while back on my 2010 Sport Trac Adrenalin. I recently purchased a 2012 Escape Limited. It s a great little rocket. I got a SCT tuner for it, and it flies.

My dealership tried some similar tactics with me when i traded off my 07 Sport Trac and 07 Edge on my 2010 Sport Trac Adrenalin. They tried to charge me $1800 for some off brand extended warranty, which i declined. Then they tried to sell me an $899 protection package for one year of car washes and fabric protector. I turned it down also, since my truck had leather interior. After i took delivery, i went to the internet and searched for Ford ESP prptection. i submitted an inquiry to FD-Warranty.com, which is Ford of Greenfield, MA. They quoted me a 7 year/100,000 mile Ford ESP PremiunCARE plan with a $100 deductible price of $1089. i took that printout back to my dealership and asked them to match it, which they did.

On my 2010 Sport Trac Adrenalin without Navigation, the SYNC Services uses 800-304-6099, but for the calls to get my location to do directions, that part of SYNC uses 800-306-7562

On my Edge, if you moved the seat all the way back, the auto seat would not work

My 2010 Sport Trac did the same thing when i took delivery of it a few weeks ago. they replaced the entire sun visor, and it functions perfectly now.

You also have to register in order to use some of the Services, like directions and traffic

My 2010 Sport Trac Adrenaline

Traded off both the 2007 Edge and Sport Trac on a 2010 Sport Trac Adrenaline. It rocks!

My 07 Edge only has 17,000 miles on it and the battery crapped out a week ago. The week before, my 07 Sport Trac with 34,000 had the same issue. But both were replaced under warranty-with no pro-ration cost.

That only turns off the perimiter lights (mirror lights and headlights), but the interior lights still come on

I have had the SIlverstars in my Explorer Sport Trac for over 2 years now and most of the driving is at night, no burnt outs yet. before that, i had them in my 05 Escape for 3 years and no burnt outs.

I guess mine is not a treasure then, i bought it new 27 months ago and it only has 14,350 miles on it

I had the same issue on my 07 Edge. Don't laugh, but i used a small crochet hook (don't ask why i have one), inserted it into the hole and pulled out the small plastic piece, from then, it was a breeze to remove the headrest, as you could easily see where to insert the paper clip.

Turn the Window lock off, the lights should come on then.

I kept having a bad smoke smell in my car after driving past a burning grass fire. I popped the cabin filter out (it was very dirty), washed it out (looks to be made out of fiberglass like an A/C filter), let it dry, sprayed it with some lysol, and put it back in. Smell be gone.

I was wondering if there was a longer/bigger overhead console for edges with out a sunroof. my explorer has a large console with a sunglass holder and a garage door opener holder. i wish the edge has a similar setup. :happy feet:

I feel the same way if it is a cosmetic issue, i think i will just live with it. on my 07 Sport Trac, the drivers door weatherstrip was deformed on the inside. It didn't affect anything, just looked crappy. Dealer replaced it, now there is terrible wind noise from the mirror area, like they didn't reseal something.

I got my Edge on July 13, 2007, and i barely have 5,900 miles on it. Still smells new. Now the 07 Sport Trac, it has just over 12,100 miles on it.

When i bought my 2005 Escape, the dealership titled it as a truck. They then got to retitle it as a car. Bought my 07 Edge from a different dealership. i reminded them to title it as a car, and they did. Here in Texas, the truck plates are ugly>

Buy a good pair of polarized sunglasses. it helps

An air freshner in your a/c vent at only 200+ miles. Don't you enjoy the smell of the new leather interior??
