BON DIA Posted February 10, 2008 Report Share Posted February 10, 2008 My recently deceased '07 Passat downshifted by slapping the shift lever to the left. How do you do it on the Edge? Loved my Passat...wife couldn't get used to lowering herself into it. Was a fun car to drive but couldn't take being sandwiched between a F150 & Expedition. '08 SEL, Creme with Leather coming soon. The operation of the transmission is explained in detail in the owner's manual.
