Katie Belton
2008 MKX and I've noticed that when I have my windows down I can hear a jingling/rattling sound coming from my rear driver's side wheel area when I go over bumps. At first I thaught it was a chain jingling on a truck behind me but soon realized it was coming from my car. I'm going to be changing my rear brakes soon and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I should look for while I have the wheels off and the MKX jacked up. Any suggestions? macbwt
Could be a lot of things. Look for worn brake pads, broken sway bar link. loose brake shield etc. Have to get down there and start tugging on things and looking for worn or broken components.
