stan1942
Finally got everything back together. I have good brakes, but there is a lot of free play. in the pedal before the car stops. The pedea is close to the bottom, but the car stops fine. Something I found when I removed my booster. I think the master cylinder has been leaking from day one. The booster had over a pint of fluid. I added fluid every few months, and didn't give it much thought. Now with a new booster, and master cylinder, I wonder why I have a lot of free pay in the pedal Any thoughts? macbwt
Brakes need to be bled. You have air in the lines.
