devk22
I've done all the changes listed here but still getting occasional simultaneous flickering from each side. I have a hard time thinking its due to bulbs or ballasts since its happening on both sides and isnt one sided. Ive read elsewhere about the PWM modulation may be interfering and causing this issue. Ive read that I may need to change the 726-26-02 line. Mine currently is set 0000-0001-0056, and may need to change 0000-000X-0056 the X to 0. Can anyone chime in on this and the PWM? I got a printout of the as built from the car I got the housings from and my current as built information so I know exactly what is different and what to change in Forscan. Will report back once install is complete. Mind sharing the as built data from the donor car?

As for 7F, my understanding is that your BCM is programmed with a certain fog light setting (low beams in your case) and the BCM would not allow you to change (the error you're getting), by setting the "7F" it is like your telling the BCM to accept other fog light settings, then you can change it. Do you know where the 7F comes from? Ive pulled up a few different as built data sheets for 15-18 Edges w/ factory Hid's and the value where you say change to 7F is

As I remember, it is not about HID vs Halogen, this is to allow changing from stock DRL settings. Check this, though it is for a Fusion, most ABD is similar to the 2015-2018 Edge. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yax6zfhZYj2joBczEeruqKh9X5Qhee3C0ngilqwTA7E/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true
