vexer Report post Posted June 8, 2018 thanks! I've done many HID installs in the past but I noticed it may be tricky to hide things in the edge as well as I used to on my Mazda I'll use your post to help with this!
vexer Report post Posted June 14, 2018 Damn that USD to CAD conversions + Shipping to Canada! Would you say the Drive Bright HID conversion kit is worth the nearly $200 it'll cost to bring it here? Or any specific brands you'd recommend for Canadian drivers?
Tightanium Report post Posted November 29, 2018 I did the Drive Bright hid conversion 2 weeks ago and all I can say is what a difference. I did the 5000k bulb. If you want a perfect match with the signature lights I think you should opt for the 6000k. Overall I’m super happy. Only thing is is I can hear a buzzing noise coming from one of the modules mostly when first turned on. You can’t hear it inside the car but it’s on both headlight harnesses. Anyone else have this ? vega Report post Posted November 29, 2018 You need an inline capacitor to stop the buzzing. That buzzing is your relay vibrating on and off at a certain frequency. I will burn out prematurely without a capacitor which will smooth out the current. Make sure the ends are correct before buying. I had this problem on my edge. 2 years no problems with the HIDs .
