jam3s007
Good afternoon all, It appears my 2007 Ford edge (about 130,000 miles) has the dreaded water pump issue(water/coolant dripping beneath the front area of the car after driving, car beginning to overheat, pressure escaping the coolant overflow). My Oil seems to be contaminant free currently. I am scared to conduct much trouble shooting on my own in fear of contaminating the oil while my vehicle has this issue. Where can i start with prepping for a DIY water pump replacement? Does the engine need to be removed from the vehicle? I've seen a lot of posts about the engine needing to be dropped or lifted for accessing the water pump. Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated. - Jameson Edited June 2, 2018 by jam3s007
