Power Folded Mirrors

The MKX's mirrors are completely different. They are even mounted differently, no the door below the window.

The Flex is a completely different platform, unlikely that it would fit.

On the other hand, the Euro Edge has power folding mirrors, those should fit, but have no idea about the electric connections. Also you would need to change the window switches and make even the driver & passenger door modules. On the 2G Fusion forums there is a how to on how to do it and I'd guess the Edge will be the same (except for the source of parts of course).

Thanks Omar. As usual you are a wealth of invaluable information. Did not think to check the 2G forum. Admittedly I completely forgot about them. I was not aware of the structural differences between the vehicles.

ironically enough I was in the employee parking lot. I got out of my truck and folded my mirrors in. Which sparked the following conversation with a coworker I have never seen before.

Him: Hey your truck is new right?

Me: Its a 2017, why whats up?

Him: I saw you pushing your mirrors in. Are the motors broken?

Me: Motors? (insert bewildered look)

Him: Shouldn't your mirrors fold automatically? Yours is a sport right?

Me: Yes.

Him: My mirrors fold in when I lock the door.... Goes over opens the door and starts the car and the mirrors fold out. Shuts her down gets out of the truck and locks it with the fob and mirrors fold in.

Me: Agape.

Me: I thought the Lincolns and the Ford trucks had power folding mirrors.

Him: No, they have been available on the Flex for a while now.

Me : Hmm, what year is yours?

Him: 2017

Me: I didn't know that the flex was still being made.

Him: Sure are, the 19's should be out sometime in the next month or so.

We walked and talked shop, talked about the differences in our cars and what we thought of the new ST and parted ways.
