Motorhomer Posted March 15, 2019 Report Share Posted March 15, 2019 We recently bought a 2013 Edge Limited. Love it except for the dinging bell and the messages in the left display. It gives us many error messages and the dinging bell. Messages include Driver door ajar, Shift to park, engine running, Rear hatch ajar and others. The My Touch system is the original and Ford won't update so what SD card do I need to buy to update system? Hopefully the update will cure some of these problems, I already did a factory reset which may have helped a little but very little. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You should call the dealership and see if your Edge is eligible. Another possible issue if your Edge is AWD, you should have the fluid drained and filled ASAP. Ford says the fluid is a lifetime fluid. Others myself included will tell you not so much. Your issues are relatively easy to resolve. They can be resolved via DIY depending on your level of skill and comfort etc. Good luck and enjoy your new ride!
