WyldeShot Posted June 9, 2020 Report Share Posted June 9, 2020 I am purchasing a 2016 Edge SEL AWD with a 2.0 Ecoboost. This is my first Edge. My dad has had 2 of them, one a 2013 limited and a 2020 titanium. The 2013 just died due to a water pump failure. I am adding a trailer hitch for a small utility trailer or cargo rack. I believe I have read the max towing for this engine is 2,000 lbs. Has anyone added a chip to increase performance? I believe this engine has the water pump on the outside of the engine.
