Jaime Silva Posted August 11, 2020 Report Share Posted August 11, 2020 My 2012 edge has 150,000 miles on it but still looks really good, it has developed an oil leak so im constantly checking the level but when starting the car for the first time of the day only it sounds like there is very little oil in it, lately I check it before starting it, if i start it any other time after the initial start its fine. WWWPerfA_ZN0W Posted August 12, 2020 Report Share Posted August 12, 2020 Are you using a Motorcraft oil filter? Rattles generally are the timing chains not getting enough lubrication at startup.
