2015 Ford Edge Titanium 2.0L EcoBoost ~ Torque Specs for Oil Drain Plug & Oil Filter?

Recommended Posts

hello,

my aged father has asked me to change his oil. i have been searching through google for torque settings, but have yet to find any.

what is the toque spec for the oil drain plug?

what is the torque spec for the oil filter?

and, is the oil drain plug gasket/ crush washer re-useable?

Thank you

Never used a torque wrench for a drain plug or an oil filter.

Crush washers are reusable.

This is the first article I found doing a Google search. I think you'll find everything you need to do a proper oil change on your fathers Edge.

2015 - 2019 Edge Oil Change Guide.

PS. I use a torque wrench all the time if there is a torque specification available. 45 years of wrenching has taught me that its a good habit to get into.

sorry for the delay in replying..

thank you for your reply.

i did find this when i searched google (interestingly i also have been using this for regular maintenance for my 2014 Kia Rio), i was hoping to find another page saying what the torque settings were to cross reference/ verify.

Thank you.
