PatrickS
Hi all, Just purchased a used 2019 Titanium Edge (FWD). After a few days of driving, have noticed the rear suspension gives more unpleasant feedback (chatter-y feel and some noise) from road imperfections than either my 2015 Jeep GC or the prior gen Edge that I tested a few years back. I haven't had any success finding tips here on how to settle down the rear. It's both noise and handing, but I think that fixing the handling will solve the noise issue. Was thinking of putting about 50# of rocks in the rear hatch area to see if just needs some weight. If that works, then some weightlifting plates might be a permanent fix. Tires are Hancook. Assuming OEM as the car only has 30,000 miles.
fishx65
Tires at 32psi will help a lot and adding weight will also help. Weight can be added around the spare under the rear panel. I added a couple bags of tube sand to the back of my Rents 2011 and it definitely helped smooth her out.
