Dewdrop Posted February 9, 2021 Report Share Posted February 9, 2021 My remote start fob is eating batteries. I can replace the battery and it will start the car for 2 days, then stop. The light does not light up when the button is pressed so I know it's the fob. I found the fob online, part# DL3Z-15K601-A, but I need to know how to program it. If you don't have one you can get a pdf at owner.ford.com or www.motorcraftservice.com. You need two working fobs to program the 3rd. Those do not program the same as the original vehicle keys. How to program those should be in the manual for the add on remote start. What year is your Edge?
