southjerseyedge Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Every morning I back out of my driveway and once I start to move forward I get this loud "moan" (hard to discribe) ... "moan"....."moan"... "moan".... then slowly it fades away. I'm guessing it has something to do with the brakes. If I hold the brakes lightly for the first 100 feet no "moan" - or at least not as loud. Anyone else have this?? 08 Edge Lim - 20" wheels. I thought at first it was just over night rust rubbing off but wouldn't that come off after backing up 30' out of the driveway? My driveway is on an incline so I'm using the brakes to back out.
