Sean T. Posted November 24, 2008 Report Share Posted November 24, 2008 (edited) Hey everybody I'm glad to see that there is a forum for Edges. My family is leasing a 2008 Ford Edge and we love it. We have the vista roof and we use it a lot, although with the temperatures dropping it hasn't been opened as often. It has the red exterior and black cloth interior. The only complaint we've had is that there isn't much room for luggage when the passenger compartment is full of two adults and two teenagers :D I love the power although I must say that sometimes it is a little jerky if you push the accelerator too soon or hard after releasing the brake. My all-time favorite experience in the Edge so far is when I was stopped waiting to get onto the expressway and I spun the tires real good when I took off. Mom said I can't do that anymore. We live in SE Michigan, and right after we got it we took a week-long trip through the Upper Peninsula and throughout the NW Lower Peninsula. Everybody really enjoyed it. We even went off-roading a little bit down some not-so-often traveled roads. Don't have too many pictures but these are two of my favorite. I think that smoked taillights would look really nice, especially on the red, but I need to convince Mom to let me do it.
