SSM 50858 - 2019-2022 Ford/Lincoln Vehicles - SYNC 3 Display Brightness Can Only Be Adjusted In Dark Or Night Time Conditions

Some 2019-2022 Ford or Lincoln vehicles with SYNC 3 may notice that the display brightness can only be adjusted in dark or night time conditions. This is a normal condition after software release 3.4.21020 or later. Covering the sunload sensor to eliminate any ambient light to verify brightness adjustment is recommended to test the feature if needed. No repairs should be attempted to address this condition.
