olyeller Posted December 27, 2023 Report Share Posted December 27, 2023 I just bought a very slightly used 2021 Edge. This thing is really loaded and some features are smarter than me. I have dogs that we often leave in the car when weather conditions are right. From reading the online manual there is a perimeter alarm and a motion sensing alarm. The instruction to deactivate the interior motion alarm aren’t working for me. They say go to the vehicle drawer but I have no idea what that is. If they meant on the big screen to press the vehicle icon, I did that. Then they say to go to alarms but I have no alarm icon on my screen. Does that mean my car doesn’t have the passive alarm? Or am I just in the wrong place? The smaller screen on the left side of the cluster also doesn’t have an alarm icon. Help! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
omar302 Posted December 28, 2023 Report Share Posted December 28, 2023 As far I know, the Edge in North America did not come with motion sensing alarm systems. You can confirm this by looking at the overhead console. If they have sensors or not like in the photo. I'm guessing it is a mistake in the owner's manual.
