Sticky Steering at Highway Speeds

Recommended Posts

I have a 2022 Titanium 8F35 (8 speed) automatic transmission, 2.0 Ecoboost 4 cylinder, with 59,000 miles.

Recently I noticed that my car’s steering has been stiff at high speeds (over 50 mph) but totally normal at low speeds. If I turn the wheel back and forth a few times, the steering becomes normal again.

My first thought was that my CV joints could be bad. I checked my CV joints and the boots are not ripped and appear to be in good condition for a car with 59,000 miles.

What should I check next?
