Liam hoppers
Hey guys new to working on for edges. Helping a friend with little to no mechanical knowledge and we are attempting to start it with no luck. We have put in a new battery and replaced the starter and checked all fuses and still get a click upon attempting to start. The car has no crank at all and I’m at a complete loss for what could be the issue is there any sort of common issue or niche thing specific to these ford edges that’s pointing to all these symptoms I’m experiencing any help or suggestions would be huge
1004ron Posted yesterday at 03:31 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:31 PM Welcome. Best get a multimeter and measure the voltage at the battery when you attempt a start. Also scan it for stored fault codes.
edjunior
I think we need a little more history also. Was the car running before? What happened when it when it wouldn't start (was any work done to the car prior to it not starting)? Did you add anything, any mods or such? Any other information that may help to know what happened prior to it not starting.
