tarabert Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 I bought a trailer hitch cover and trailer pin for my 2008 Edge. It says it fits most applications. When I went to install the cover, it doens't come anywhere close to fitting. I didn't really want the trailer hitch when I purchased the car, but every vehicle with the other options that I did want, came with the towing package. I thought covering it up would help "dress" up my vehicle a bit. Any suggestions on what kind of adaptor I can purchase in order to make the trailer cover fit? Lex Talionis Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 your cover might be 2" and not the needed 1.25" - you did not say if it is to big or to small? but that photo looks like 2". if they claim it fits most applications, you should have gotten a reducer adaptor, no?
