Fuel Average

Hey,,,

i was just wondering if there was a problem with my Fuel tank or something :S

cuz i saw the fuel average and it was " 30,6 L / 100km "

if anyone know what to do with it please tell me !

 

i'll add a photo in the attachments thing

Hi,

 

the first measure in my opinion should be to calculate a complete tank filling per comparison with the driven kms.

Then you will know the true fuel consumption.

 

After that it is quite easier to say if it is a heavy technical problem with your Edge is consumpting too much or only the BC has

a failure.

 

As far as i know the calculating behavior of the BC is programmable over a variable in the Diagnostics (OBD II) .

Maybe someone played with it and the variable is totally nonsense to calculate to high values.

I've had my 2010 AWD SEL for about 4 months, all city driving, and am getting a pitiful 13mpg (per the computer). I will be taking the car to the dealer...
