Idle and Shifting Inconsistency

I've read through the numerous posts on transmission, idle acceleration, sluggish transmission, etc...

I have a pre-owned 2009 Ford Edge SE AWD with approximately 22,500 miles. Recently at idle or at stop with the transmission in D, the engine RPM's will start between 1000 and 1300 RPMs and dip down to 700-800 and fluctuate like that every 10-15 seconds or until I get the vehicle moving. Most recently, I've noticed an inconsistent transition from 1st to 2nd gear. Once the vehicle reaches the high end of the RPMs to transition from 1st to 2nd it sputters and then changes gear.

I plan to take the vehicle in as, it seems as though it could be a computer problem...just wanted to see if anyone had similar experiences. Fortunately I have some warranty left on the vehicle.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I never heard of this problem. I would let the dealer "deal" with it ....
